The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) fans would like to see her find love again. There’s a constant push from Steffy supporters, who want Steffy to meet someone new and move on from Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
It would certainly be nice to see Steffy meet a new man, but B&B can’t just throw any old hunk in the mix! No one wants to see Steffy wind up with another waffler. Since “a new hunk for Steffy” is on so many viewers’ wish list, let’s consider five qualities we’d like this guy to have.
1. Loyalty Is a Must
Of course, the priority here would be bringing in someone who’d be loyal. That word isn’t even in Liam’s vocabulary. Liam isn’t the kind of guy who can stick with one woman for too long. Steffy’s new man could change all that for her. It’d be great to see this guy fall hard and give Steffy the loyalty she deserves for a while.
2. No Interest in Hope
To take that loyalty idea a step further, let’s make sure this guy has no interest in Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) whatsoever. Perhaps blondes just aren’t his thing! He might also like a woman with a little edge like Steffy has.
Regardless, Hope will have Liam and perhaps even reformed Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) as romantic possibilities. Steffy’s new main squeeze shouldn’t care about Hope’s existence. B&B has played out Hope and Steffy fighting over the same man too many times, so here’s an opportunity to take a break from that rivalry.
3. Nothing Like Liam
Steffy should fall for someone who’s the anti-Liam; he could be the opposite of Liam in almost every way. Maybe B&B should go with someone dark-haired and super smooth. A fashion model might be a fun choice. This guy could be cool, confident and edgy – willing to bend the rules and help Steffy get her fire back.
4. Supportive Family Man
Naturally, we wouldn’t want The Bold and the Beautiful to take this guy too far in a rulebreaker direction. He still needs to be a responsible adult, so it’s all about finding the right balance. Steffy’s new man should love kids and be all about helping Steffy raise Kelly Spencer (Colette and Avalon Gray). He should be a sweet and supportive family man that Steffy can build a future with.
5. Willing to Fight for Steffy
If Liam were to cause any problems, this new guy needs to be willing to fight for Steffy. He could stand up for Steffy at Forrester Creations too if need be. B&B needs to offer a devoted guy who backs Steffy up 100 percent. They’ll have a winner if they let Steffy’s new potential love interest get behind her all the way.
