The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that viewers are anxious to learn more about Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) new man. Since the show’s staying tight-lipped about this cast addition, it gives everyone a chance to speculate on the new actor playing the part. It could easily be a soap alum, so that gives us several good options to mull over.
What about Casey Moss, who used to play JJ Deveraux on Days of Our Lives? Do you think Moss could play a new love interest for Steffy? Moss was a popular actor on DOOL before his last episode aired earlier this year. He might be willing and available to work, so he’s at least a possibility to consider.
Moss is 26 years old, so some might feel he’s a bit on the young side to play Steffy’s new man. However, Moss looks older with some stubble and was consistently paired with women older than him on Days. JJ even hit the sheets with DOOL’s Eve Donovan, who’s played by Kassie DePaiva – an actress over two decades older than Moss.
JJ was also paired up with Lani Price, who’s portrayed by 34-year-old Sal Stowers. That was a perfectly fine romance, so there’s no reason Moss couldn’t be paired with 33-year-old Jacqueline MacInnes Wood in a B&B love story.
We should also consider Moss’ work on Days of Our Lives. In the beginning, Moss played a bad boy who dabbled in drugs and often got into trouble. Over time, JJ matured and became a cop before settling on a new career path as an EMT.
Moss showed great range during his time on Days, so he could play whatever kind of man The Bold and the Beautiful has in mind for Steffy.
As a bonus, it’s easy to imagine Moss having onscreen chemistry with other women on the show like Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra), Annika Noelle (Hope Logan), Katrina Bowden (Flo Fulton) and Kiara Barnes (Zoe Buckingham).
If things didn’t work out with Steffy, Moss could become a leading man for somebody else. He’d be a flexible performer who could fit with just about anyone.
Of course, we want Steffy to have her shot at happiness first! Steffy just might get it with this new man that’s been cast for her, so we’ll look forward to when this guy’s revealed. In the meantime, we can keep considering all the handsome soap alums!
