The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that one fanbase is growing increasingly fed up with a once beloved pairing. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) used to be a couple that loads of people rooted for.
There are certainly still plenty of “Steam” fans out there, but there are just as many Steffy fans that are furious over this reboot. It seems like the latest “Steam” kiss pushed devoted Steffy supporters over the edge. We all know how this ends – and it’s heartbreak for Steffy.
Liam gushed about how his relationship with Steffy is one of the great treasures of his life, but when has he ever really treated it like something he treasured? He can say all these wonderful things about how much Steffy means to him, but they’re just words.
Liam has proven that he can’t stay committed to Steffy indefinitely. That’s why Steffy fans are so riled right now. They know B&B’s making her settle for someone who isn’t going to stand by her. Steffy’s just going to wind up single and brokenhearted again, so why even bother?
It might be different if any of these “Steam” reunions brought something different to the table. However, the truth is they don’t. It’s the same story and ends the same way: with Liam drifting back to Hope.
On Twitter, many Steffy supporters have been voicing their outrage. They wish Steffy would be written as a woman smart enough to walk away when she’s been burned repeatedly.
One fan said, “Steffy fighting for the same man for 10 years. Stop please, put Steffy out of Liam’s life.” “Shift Steffy to ANY PART of the #boldandbeautiful canvas and she will make the story snap/crackle/pop,” one more fan insisted. “Any man, any story, any time. Guaranteed. But she keeps getting shackled to Lope no matter what.”
Another tweet said, “#boldandbeautiful has burned too many bridges with #steam for me to ever support them again. Sometimes you can’t go back…” It’s clear that The Bold and the Beautiful viewers have some strong opinions on this! Tons of them are eager to see Steffy ditch Liam and find a new man.
Will the fan pushback ever be enough to convince TPTB? Should B&B free Steffy in 2020? The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say some shockers and shakeups are ahead, so let’s hope some of them are romantic ones for Steffy.
