The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Thursday, February 6, reveal that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) urged Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to just let the issue of her kiss with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) go. As he, Steffy, and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) stood together in the Forrester CEO office, Steffy then said that what she did was impulsive and reckless.
Hope insisted that Steffy didn’t need to apologize, and Thomas said that dredging this up wasn’t helping anyone. Still, Steffy insisted that Hope shouldn’t misunderstand what happened, and that Liam came to her house the night before to be with family, not to rekindle anything with her.
Thomas then changed the subject, saying that Steffy, Liam, and Kelly Spencer (Zoe Pennington) had a special night planned.
Steffy explained to Hope and Thomas that Liam was coming over to the cliff house and they were going to make a digital family photo album. Thomas said it was great to see her creating memories with Kelly’s father, and that Hope’s connection with Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) was just as special.
Thomas stated that during this challenging time, they were coming together as a family – and who knows where that could go.
Meanwhile, at Spencer Publications, Liam and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) continued to talk about Thomas and his manipulative ways. Liam reiterated his belief that Thomas was still after Hope, and that his relationship with Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) was just a ruse.
Brooke agreed that Thomas was a terrible threat, and she reeled when Liam again took 100% of the blame for the kiss with Steffy. Brooke blasted Liam for kissing Steffy right after proposing to Hope, and Liam promised to protect Hope from Thomas, even if they weren’t together.
Brooke demanded that Liam get Hope back. Liam said that he just wants what’s best for Hope and that he’s grateful that she’s not keeping him from Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez), but that also has a family with Steffy and Kelly, and that he can’t apologize or feel guilty for being with them.
Next, in the Forrester design office, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) had some paperwork for Zoe to sign, and the two discussed the upcoming fashion showdown.
Carter said that he had seen Zoe modeling one of Thomas’ designs and that it was beautiful…and that he wasn’t just talking about the designs. Zoe said she was flattered, and that if she wasn’t involved with Thomas, then you never know.
Carter then said that he and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) were friends and that he knew that Thomas had made some questionable decisions in the past because of Hope.
Carter wondered if Thomas was really being honest with Zoe. Zoe appreciated his concern but said that she knows all about Thomas’ feelings for Hope, and that he’s moved on.
Next, at Steffy’s house, she and Liam played with Kelly and spent time taking photos and videos of their little girl. Afterwards, the three sat together in the living room and Liam said that being a dad was the best part of his life, and that it has been nice spending time at the house.
Liam complimented Steffy on being a totally loving and responsible mother. Later, after they put Kelly down, Steffy and Liam talked more about how happy Kelly is, and Liam complimented Steffy again on being a great mother.
Steffy brought up the kiss and her guilt over it, but she also said that it had given her a great spark of energy that she desperately needed. Liam took her hand and said that he was so happy to be there with her, and that his relationship with her was one of the greatest treasures of his life.
They then flashed back to some of their past history, including the birth of Kelly, and Liam asked Steffy to never forget how important she is to him. He then said that he wanted to show her what was in his heart, and he leaned in for a tender kiss. Steffy was truly touched, and they gazed at each other tenderly.
Finally, back in the Forrester CEO office, Thomas sat sketching while Hope worked on her laptop. He gazed at her, and she uncomfortably noticed him looking. He then showed her his design sketch, and she loved it. He said that she was his inspiration and that they were unbeatable together. He then pledged his devotion to her, before apologizing for sounding like he was coming onto her.
Thomas then said that he probably should have tried harder to forget about her, and that he had given her custody of Douglas because Douglas loves her, but that he loves her, too, although he’s beginning to realize that you can’t always have what you want.
Hope asked about how things were going with Zoe, and Thomas said that it was going well, and that they could be serious, but that Hope is who he wants.
Zoe then came in, and Thomas walked over to her and kissed her, and they talked about their dinner plans for the evening. Thomas asked if Hope would watch Douglas, which she agreed to do. Thomas and Zoe then left for their evening together, while Thomas looked back at an uncomfortable and pensive Hope.
