The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will do everything he can to help Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) make a full recovery. Finn will undoubtedly keep reminding Steffy of all the people who love her, especially her daughter.
Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) is a huge part of why Steffy was willing to get help. Steffy’s little girl needs her mom, so she’ll hope she can get back to her old self and be there for Kelly once she overcomes her addiction.
However, there could be some issues once Steffy gets better and emerges from rehab. Before Hope even realized Steffy was a drug addict, she was already trying to squeeze in extra time with Kelly.
Hope wanted to help Steffy out, but it also seemed like she was becoming more and more attached to her stepdaughter. That problem is only going to get worse while Steffy’s away.
Of course, it’s great when blended families get along – and stepping up right now is exactly what Hope should be doing. Hope has to be there for Kelly along with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), especially since Steffy would do the same for Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) if the situation was flipped.
Even so, the problem we’re talking about may present itself once Steffy’s recovered and more than capable of being Kelly’s mom again. Will Hope have trouble giving up her spot as Kelly’s main maternal figure?
That’s an option to consider since Hope’s love for Kelly is just going to get stronger in the weeks or months ahead.
Naturally, B&B spoilers say Kelly’s going to grow closer to Hope as well. There could be some attachment issues on Kelly’s end, which would certainly make Steffy’s transition out of rehab difficult.
If Kelly clings to Hope and struggles to reconnect with her mom, it could put Steffy at risk for a relapse. That’s especially true if Hope and Liam have doubts about whether Steffy’s really ready to be a parent again.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn will be there for Steffy no matter what challenges strike, so at least we know she’ll have someone in her corner!
