The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) current marital problems can be woven into rewritten B&B storylines as part of COVID-19 protocols that will be enforced where this soap opera will record new B&B episodes.
Workplace plans are being developed that are specifically designed to allow a semblance of production to restart in Los Angeles, California. Part of the guidelines involve recommendations for mature employees.
McCook turns 76 on June 20. The accomplished performer is one of only two actors in the current cast who were part of B&B’s 1987 debut when it was introduced as a spin-off of The Young and the Restless.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Eric Forrester’s Intractable Quinn Problem
When last seen, Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) wasn’t one of Eric’s favorite people. While he hadn’t filed for divorce, he was very disappointed that she’d exposed Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang, the other actor who was part of B&B’s debut season) kiss with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
It’s surely reasonable to believe that B&B would write Eric out of LA, rather than having him ask Quinn to leave their home. The Forrester mansion is an often used setting where all actors, who are able to work under the new protocols, can practice social distancing within scenes.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Guest House Option Isn’t Plausible
Eric’s desire to put space between himself and Quinn wouldn’t be accomplished by him moving into his own guest house. That setting is on the lot, which would preclude McCook from being able to use it during this projected transitional period.
Also, having Eric remain on the same property, or anywhere within a reasonable proximity, would mean that Quinn would likely visit him repeatedly. So, it wouldn’t be plausible to think that McCook’s character would, in effect, hide out in a different location on his property indefinitely.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Forrester Creations Europe Challenge
It’s unknown if B&B will incorporate the COVID-19 virus pandemic into the storyline. If that happens, then Eric can be said to have traveled to Europe and would be unable to return due to travel restrictions.
However, if reality isn’t written into the script, then McCook’s character can be shown in some office type setting at FC in Europe. This physical location may actually be a room in his own home, with video conferencing keeping Eric literally in the picture until he chooses to return to LA.
