Lang’s mother, Judy, was an actor from 1960 through 1970. She debuted in the film Strangers When We Met.
Lang was later a regular on the television series Dr. Kildare in 1965, playing the role of Jill Hartwood. She also appeared in the popular TV series Get Smart, The Wild Wild West, Bewitched, and The Virginian, along with other shows and movies.
Charles Lang was Judy Lang’s father and Katherine Kelly Lang’s grandfather. The cinematographer holds two places of distinction in entertainment history. He won the Oscar for the 1932 film A Farewell to Arms. He also shares a record with Leon Shamroy in having the most Academy Award nominations (18) for cinematography in history.
