The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that new info is coming out about what’s ahead on the CBS soap. B&B fans know production was halted in mid-March, so that’s given the writing team some time to form some new plans. The Bold and the Beautiful Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley Bell is excited about those plans and previewed them in a new issue of Soap Opera Digest.
Here’s what’s in store as B&B gets back in production. It turns out Bell actually has some new storylines in mind, which should be welcome news for many fans. It could be an indication that Bell intends to wrap up some of the old stories quickly and move into these new ones he’s so excited about.
Of course, you can’t deliver fantastic stories without a talented cast, so Bell praised B&B’s actors and really seems invested in highlighting their talent. “I’m enthusiastic because we have a great cast,” Bell said. “We’ve got a great story coming up for Denise Richards [Shauna] and Rena [Sofer, Quinn] and [Katherine] Kelly [Lang]. We’ve got great stories.”
Bell also talked about a new issue-related story for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacMacInnes Wood). The B&B exec revealed that a new actor and character will be featured heavily with Wood in her upcoming scenes. That certainly points to the idea of a fresh romance, so we’ll see how it all plays out.
Now that Bell’s had this chance to do some long-term planning, he’s ready to roll and can’t wait for viewers to see what’s in store. It’s nice that The Bold and the Beautiful seems to have some new things cooking instead of the usual stuff. Many fans are eager to see some changes as new episodes hit the screen again.
“Having this time really has given us time to do long-term story arcs and it’s wonderful,” Bell insisted. “I think we’re ready to go like never before. We’re going to have a sensational year.” That’s quite a prediction, so we’ll all be curious to see what’s so sensational and what these great stories are all about!
