The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s (Steffy Forrester) real life news can play nicely into her character’s storyline. As CDL reported, Wood announced via social media that she’s pregnant. She and her husband, Elan Ruspoli, are expecting their second child in the early part of 2021. Their first child, son Rise, was born in March 2019.
Obviously B&B fans are wondering how Wood’s expected child may play into Steffy’s storyline. Considering how Wood has been filmed to-date, with numerous baggy clothes concealing her pregnancy, a parallel story likely isn’t possible. However, Wood’s anticipated maternity leave could surely be coupled, or followed by a baby arc.

Wood has surely produced plenty of scenes that can be submitted for daytime Emmy award nomination consideration. The addiction storyline was terrific, with this always great actor offering a truly great series of performances that had Steffy battling the start of a pain-killer addiction.
Thankfully, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) found Steffy at the cliff house before Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Colette Gray) was in any real danger.
Steffy’s knife-pull and the subsequent targeted intervention Liam, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), and John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) forced led to a voluntary entrance into a treatment facility. Progress has enabled Steffy’s release and return home.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Kelly Spencer Is Priority Number One
Kelly was on Steffy’s mind as she initially tried to resist taking pain pills. Wood’s character wanted to be present for her child, but was initially encouraged by those who surrounded her to not be afraid to accept pain assistance.
The fall into what was only a brief period of addiction was quickly halted. But Steffy’s fears proved out during that time, as she wasn’t able to remain alert and was risking Kelly’s safety. This experience will resonate, influencing further important choices Steffy will make.
While Liam is Kelly’s father, he made a choice to be with the other love of his life, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), and the family they established. Steffy’s realization that Steam was gone leaves her open to the full potential that Finn now offers.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Finn Becomes A Father?
It would seem that B&B will need to wait until next year if a choice is made to have Steffy become pregnant. Wood will be showing significantly later this fall and into early winter, which wouldn’t visually match with Steffy being much earlier along.
So, the likely pairing of Steffy and Finn can be written from the courtship stage to potential engagement by next spring, with pregnancy to follow in the summer, if that type of storyline is desired.
Finn and Liam have already become rivals, based on Clifton’s character defaulting to a protective stance over Steffy. Liam will back off that take with Hope’s help. But his place as a second father would create a new and intriguing dynamic for all involved.
