The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) seems to be playing a risky game. As B&B viewers know, it’s just been revealed that Sally isn’t really dying and that her story about having a terminal illness is nothing more than a sham. Whether it was all a lie from the get-go remains to be seen at this point, but a lie is a lie, and this is a big one!
Surely Sally can’t possibly think that she can maintain this lie – after all, it’s going to become pretty apparent that she’s not dying as the days go by, since she was supposedly given about a month to live a couple weeks back.
But maybe she thinks that if she reels Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) in and isolates him from Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) for a while, then she’ll stand a chance at keeping him in the long run.
Who knows – maybe Sally’s plan is to get Wyatt hooked back with her in the short term, then to suddenly pretend to learn that her illness was all a big mix up and at that point fight for Wyatt.
And if she’s really devious, she could try to get pregnant out of the deal and hook Wyatt that way. At any rate, Sally’s grand plan will probably unfold over the next few episodes, so we’ll all have to wait to see.
But this plan just seems doomed to fail, especially since Dr. Penny Escobar (Monica Ruiz) is involved somehow. We’ll see if Dr. Escobar was in on things from the beginning and helped originate the scam, or whether she somehow got dragged into it after the fact, but it seems like she could be the weak link in Sally’s big plan.
Dr. Escobar certainly seems angry with Sally for what she’s doing – maybe she’ll ultimately let the cat out of the bag about the big lie that Sally’s perpetrating. Whatever the case, Sally’s plan seems doomed to backfire on her at some point. And imagine how angry Wyatt is going to be when he learns about this lie!
Wyatt has certainly been lied to a lot by the women in his life in the recent past. First, Sally lied to Wyatt when she kept Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) scheme to break up Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Then Flo lied to Wyatt about her involvement about Beth Spencer’s (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) existence.
And now, Wyatt is bound to find out at some point that Sally has been deliberately misleading him about her health status. Wyatt is going to explode when he learns that he’s been lied to about something like this, and it’s probably going to be a bad scene when he finally confronts Sally for what she’s done.
Sally will surely lose Wyatt in the end, and poor Wyatt might end up being really soured on relationships. At any rate, the truth will surely come out soon – after all, even Thomas’ dastardly scheme came to light in end, so Sally’s scheme probably will as well.
