The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) could find herself in familiar territory. B&B fans know paternity mysteries are the norm on daytime dramas.
It’s incredibly common for a woman to sleep with multiple men within a short timeframe and wind up wondering who the daddy is.
Steffy faced that dilemma in 2017 after she cheated on Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) with his father, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). During a routine checkup with Dr. Campbell (Tina Huang), Steffy’s blood and urine tests delivered a pregnancy shocker.
Steffy eventually had to call up Dr. Campbell and put a rush on a paternity test since she didn’t know if the father was Bill or Liam.
That brings us to Dr. Campbell’s looming return and what that might mean for Steffy. What if Steffy finds herself going through yet another paternity mystery? It’s possible when you consider some upcoming Bold and the Beautiful spoilers.
Liam is set to witness Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) getting passionate with the Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) mannequin, which will lead to a wrong assumption.
Liam will be absolutely gutted by what he sees, so that suggests he’ll believe Hope betrayed him with Thomas. B&B’s going to use the mannequin and dark room to cause confusion.
Soon after, Liam will break down as he updates Steffy on the pain of this betrayal. Steffy will comfort Liam – and we all know soapy, steamy things can happen when characters lean on an ex.
It seems like some fans are dismissing the possibility of Liam and Steffy hitting the sheets again, but that’s a mistake.
We obviously have to remember that Steffy isn’t a real person. Steffy isn’t in charge of her behavior; B&B Head Writer and Executive Producer Bradley Bell is. Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is simply an actress who shows up on set and does what she’s told.
That’s why it’s unreasonable to say Steffy would never do this or Steffy would never do that. Steffy will do whatever Bell wants her to do, even if fans hate it!
Some viewers might say they trust Steffy to stay loyal to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), but ask yourself: Do you trust Brad Bell to write it that way? Because fictional Steffy isn’t making decisions on her own.
Bell’s running the show here – and he’s proven time and time again that he likes to keep Steffy in Liam’s orbit. This isn’t a new concept at all. With that in mind, it’s entirely possible Steffy will sleep with Liam in a moment of weakness.
If Steffy puts that night with Liam behind her and makes love to Finn soon after, it brings the potential for Dr. Campbell’s return to involve another pregnancy bombshell. Will Steffy wind up wondering if Liam or Finn is the father? It’s something to mull over based on B&B’s track record!
