The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) could wind up with major regrets. B&B fans know Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was involved in a horrible accident – one that’ll leave her in great pain as she recovers. Steffy will eventually get updates on how badly she was injured and how long it’ll take to heal.
Since Steffy’s recovery could take several weeks, Finn won’t want her suffering without the assistance of pain meds. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy will really be struggling, but she’ll hide her pain as best as she can.
Even so, Finn has dealt with plenty of patients with injuries as bad as Steffy’s. He’ll understand that this has to be excruciating, so he’ll push Steffy to just take the painkillers. Finn may not understand why Steffy wouldn’t want to cut down on the pain if she could.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy’s got a heavy storyline coming up, which will center around a big issue in the world today. Addiction is certainly a big one, so it looks like that’s where this hot plot’s headed.
Despite being so reluctant to take pain medication, Steffy’s probably going to trust her doctor in the end. It seems Steffy will take Finn’s advice and assume a couple painkillers here and there won’t hurt her.
Of course, the problem isn’t a couple painkillers here and there. It’s the fact that Steffy will likely become unable to go without them.
Even after Steffy’s feeling better, she may find it incredibly difficult to kick the habit. Since we know Finn will be Steffy’s next love interest, it’ll be interesting to see how this story plays out.
This should be something Steffy hides from Finn and everyone else for at least a little while. However, that could get much tougher as Steffy and Finn grow closer.
As Finn falls for Steffy, will he begin to see warning signs? Will Finn ultimately have to convince Steffy that she needs help? This might even build to an overdose, which could leave Finn frantic to save Steffy once again. The fact that Finn may blame himself should heighten the drama even more.
No matter who initially realizes Steffy’s in deep trouble, Finn should battle guilt over pushing Steffy to take pain meds. Finn may feel like Steffy wouldn’t have gotten hooked if she hadn’t trusted him and accepted his guidance.
