The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) secret could spell trouble. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) doesn’t blame Steffy for his breakup with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) – or for that kiss since he kissed back. He just couldn’t help but marvel at how Hope managed to show up at exactly the right moment to witness it.
Of course, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is the reason for that. Steffy’s leaving out a crucial part of the story here, including the fact that Thomas called her and nudged her into making her move.
During the week of January 20-24, Steffy will battle more guilt. Despite Thomas’ insistence that she should keep her mouth shut, Steffy will feel like she needs to come clean to Liam.
Perhaps Steffy will see how much Liam’s hurting over losing Hope and feel responsible. Then again, Steffy may feel like she simply can’t build any kind of “Steam” reunion that starts off with a secret. It’s definitely not a good foundation to start out with.
Nevertheless, Thomas will insist that Steffy could blow her shot with Liam if she confesses. Obviously, Thomas will be more worried about his own shot with Hope – which will actually be going pretty well by then.
Hope will lean on Thomas as she crumbles over the end of “Lope.” He needs Steffy to keep pulling Liam closer instead of driving him away with a revelation connected to him.
B&B fans know Thomas is a pretty tricky subject when it comes to Liam. He hates the guy with good reason, so he would definitely have a problem with Steffy keeping a secret with her brother.
It seems likely Steffy will indeed stay tight-lipped, which could lead to even more trouble. If you give Thomas an inch, he takes a mile.
Thomas will inevitably keep pushing things with Steffy and sinking her deeper into this alliance. That could be a problem if Thomas spirals out of control again as he tends to do. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say a shocking death is coming up in 2020.
If Thomas plays any kind of role in that death, it could bring backlash for Steffy – at least depending on how long this brother-sister partnership lasts.
Steffy may finally reunite with Liam and get her family back, but keeping secrets regarding Thomas could destroy everything. Will Steffy and Liam’s reconnection turn out to be short-lived?
On the bright side, Steffy could be free to pursue other options if that happened. There are plenty of handsome fish in the sea!
