The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will make some comments that manage to get under Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) skin. Things will start off on a positive note as Thomas apologizes for his past transgressions and hopes for a clean slate.
Thomas now understands that he was letting his obsessive thoughts control him. He’s trying to respect boundaries and put Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) first these days.
Hope will like the sound of that, so they’ll strategize about their co-parenting arrangement and how they can best care for Douglas as a team. Everything will be going well until the topic of Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) past comes up.
Thomas will make it clear that Liam’s clinging to “Steam” history and refusing to let Steffy go.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will fume over Liam practically stalking Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and then trying to mess things up for “Sinn.”
Hope and Thomas will debate whether this is about concern for Steffy, jealousy or both. The more Thomas rants about Liam being stuck on Steffy, the more fearful Hope will become.
Thomas will fuel Hope’s old insecurities and make her worry that her relationship is headed for trouble. The last time Hope and Liam broke up, she pointed out that Steffy was always going to come between them.
Now Thomas will go on and on about Liam’s lingering interest in Steffy. Thomas will basically brainwash Hope into believing a “Steam” reunion could happen.
Naturally, Thomas loves his sister and won’t blame her for Liam’s refusal to let her move on. Hope, on the other hand, may think Steffy will use this to steal Liam back. No one’s fears are entirely rational in all this, but that’s to be expected considering the complicated history all around.
Thomas will want Hope in his corner, but this could work out better for him than he ever anticipated. As Hope begins to feel distant from Liam, it could open her heart to Thomas just a crack.
B&B fans will be eager to see which couples can make it work and which ones might sink in the months ahead.
