The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 28, is available a bit early. As you might know, Monday’s episode of B&B was pre-empted in the US and will be aired in its entirety on Tuesday.
But since the episode did air on Monday, July 27 in some Canadian markets, we’re able to bring you Tuesday’s recap early. Keep reading to see what happened on this episode, and remember, you’ll see it air on Tuesday, July 28th.
At the beach house, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Penny Escobar (Monica Ruiz) talked about Sally’s failed attempt to seduce Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and how Wyatt saw Flo Fulton’s (Katrina Bowden) secret “help” message on Sally’s lingerie.
Sally worried that Wyatt would freak out when he heard about how she lied about being terminally ill, and she lamented that Flo was surely telling Wyatt all about her scheme over at Sally’s apartment.
Penny had plenty to worry about herself, since she stands to lose her medical license. Penny also thought that the revelation about Sally’s scheme would probably bring Flo and Wyatt closer together.
Sally said that Wyatt rushed out of the beach house to go rescue Flo, and that he’s in love with Flo and only Flo. Sally determined that she needed to tell Wyatt her story and try to make him understand why she did what she did.
Meanwhile, over at Sally’s apartment, Wyatt got the lowdown from Flo about how Sally isn’t really dying. While Wyatt was relieved that Sally’s going to be ok, he was floored to hear the whole tale from Flo about how Sally came up with the fake death ruse just to get him back.
Flo recounted how she got suspicious and snuck a peek at Sally’s medical records, then tricked Sally with a rubber snake to learn the truth. Finally, Wyatt heard all about Sally’s last-ditch plot to get pregnant.
Soon, Sally and Penny showed up at the apartment, and Wyatt told Sally that he knows everything that she did. Wyatt said that he was grateful that Sally wasn’t dying, but that he was struggling to understand how Sally could do what she did. Wyatt demanded to know how Sally could lie to him about something like this.
Next, at the hospital, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) talked in the waiting area, with Brooke reassuring Bill that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) would get through this.
Meanwhile, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) sat at Steffy’s bedside and urged his daughter to come back to him.
Soon, Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) entered Steffy’s room and needed to examine her, so Ridge stepped into the waiting area where Bill was telling Brooke that he wished it was him in that hospital bed.
Ridge demanded to know how the accident happened, and Bill was about to explain when Detective Alex Sanchez (Jeremy Ray Valdez) materialized, saying he was interested in hearing what happened to Steffy, too.
Bill explained that he had just talked with Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and was on his way to Steffy’s house to see Kelly Spencer (Colette and Avalon Gray) when Steffy just came out of nowhere.
Bill choked up as he said that it all happened so fast, and that there was nothing that he could have done. Bill apologized, but Ridge lashed out, saying that Bill “plowed” his car into Steffy’s motorcycle.
Bill said that it wasn’t like that, and Ridge said that this is who Bill is – he destroys lives. Brooke then interjected that Bill would never intentionally hurt Steffy, and Bill said that he needed to see Steffy.
That was a total nonstarter for Ridge, who told Bill to stay away from his daughter. Ridge then went back in Steffy’s room, where he vented a bit about Bill before tearfully telling Steffy to listen to his voice and let him guide her home. Steffy opened her eyes and groggily said, “Dad?”
