The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Tuesday, May 5 Recap - Liam's The Luckiest Man In The World, Says Wyatt Crying Over Steffy

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Tuesday, May 5, reveal that viewers saw an encore episode featuring Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) wedding that originally aired on March 22, 2017. The episode began in Sydney, Australia, where the officiant said a few words about this special moment that Liam and Steffy were sharing. Unobtrusively, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), who was sitting with Thomas Forrester (Pierson Fode), snapped a photo of the ceremony.

The officiant then welcomed Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) to say a few words. Bill talked about how they were all standing there among the magnificent architecture, but that what lies beneath it all is a unique soul that’s deep, peaceful, calm, and good.

Bill said that it was just like the soul that lives inside Liam. Bill said that Liam’s character was as strong as steel, his wisdom soared above the tallest skyscraper, and his grace was as pure as the finest architecture.

Bill then turned to Steffy, saying that she doesn’t settle and that she only wants the best, which is what she has found. “That is what both of you have found,” Bill said. “Congratulations.”

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) spoke next as Sally snapped another picture quietly. Ridge said that Bill was right and Liam was a good man and the right man. Ridge said that he admired Liam’s bravery in marrying someone who does the unexpected and sometimes completely insane.

Ridge said that from the day Steffy was born, she has brought him joy and happiness, and that’s what he wanted for Liam and Steffy – joy, happiness, and a great adventure. The officiant then discussed how marriage is a total commitment, and he then moved to the vows.

Steffy said: “I stand here pledging my everlasting love and commitment and loyalty to you. You motivate me to live my life to the fullest.” Steffy went on saying that Liam set her spirit to fly, and that she loves how he stands by his values and fights for what’s good and honest.

Steffy noted that Liam never stopped believing in them, and that he was patient and understanding. Finally, Steffy said that she was excited to spend the rest of her life with Liam.

Liam said: “I stand here pledging my everlasting love and commitment and loyalty to you. You’ve turned my life upside down, so it’s appropriate that we’re doing this here in the southern hemisphere.” Liam said that Steffy pushed him to do new things, and that nothing about her is conventional or expected.

Liam said that Steffy embraces every little thing life has to offer, and that he doesn’t know what’s next and that’s terrifying, but he loves it. Finally, Liam said that he wanted to spend every single moment with Steffy for the rest of their life.

Steffy and Liam then exchanged rings, and the officiant pronounced them husband and wife. Excited, Steffy shrieked and Liam dipped Steffy and kissed her. Afterwards, Steffy and Liam congregated with Eric Forrester (John McCook), Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer), Ridge, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), Bill, Katie Spencer (Heather Tom), and Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer). Everyone marveled about Steffy’s zip-line entrance.

Steffy then announced that they were going to make a quick pit stop at the hotel to put on bathing suits for the reception, and later, everyone boarded a speedboat and the boat sped away in the harbor, with Steffy and Liam on cloud nine.

Meanwhile, back in Los Angeles at Il Giardino, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) sat at the bar drinking alone. Wyatt briefly talked with the bartender, telling him to leave the bottle on the bar.

Wyatt explained that he was having a bad night, and that his family was in Australia, but it was too “awkward” for him to go. Soon, Zende Forrester (Rome Flynn) and Nicole Forrester (Reign Edwards) walked by and spotted Wyatt.

Zende and Nicole sat down with Wyatt, who said that he had thought about going on the trip and catching some waves with Thomas, but then he thought about actually watching Liam and Steffy saying their vows and he thought better of it.

Wyatt was a little tipsy at this point, and he joked about whether or not he needed to give Steffy a wedding gift, but he guessed that a divorce was enough of a gift.

Soon, Nicole got a text, and Wyatt wondered if it was Steffy, but it wasn’t. Wyatt, Zende, and Nicole talked about how it was just too soon for Wyatt to attend the wedding, and Wyatt said wistfully that he and Steffy had a great time together.

Wyatt also reminisced a little bit about the good times they had at Forrester Creations and the Spencer Summit, but he bemoaned the fact that he and Stuffy got caught up in Quinn’s web.

Finally, Zende and Nicole needed to leave, and Wyatt remarked about how excited Liam and Steffy probably were right about now, and about how Liam probably feels like the luckiest man in the world. Wyatt then offered a toast to the happy couple and downed his drink.
