The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, December 7, teases that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will have some alarming news for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
They still don’t know why Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) keeled over, though Finn alluded to some potential brain trauma.
On Monday, Finn will offer some disturbing updates on Thomas’ condition. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas’ diagnosis will be quite serious and will require emergency surgery soon.
It looks like there’s indeed an issue in Thomas’ brain – one that led to his recent downward spiral and now leaves his life on the line.
Finn won’t be able to guarantee that Thomas will recover, but he’ll do everything he can to save him. Since Thomas is Steffy’s brother, that’ll provide even more motivation. Finn and his fellow doctors will work hard to keep Thomas alive and help him have a future with his family.
Meanwhile, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will remain in total shock as Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) explains the whole terrifying story. Hope finally made Liam understand that it wasn’t her at the apartment kissing Thomas.
It was the mannequin from Forrester Creations, so Liam’s already reeling over his awful mistake.
Liam’s going to face another crushing blow as Hope reveals Thomas’ mental state. Hope will make it clear that Thomas was delusional and struggling to make sense of what was in front of him.
Liam will hear all about Thomas’ fight with the doll and know Hope’s telling the truth. It’ll be hard for Liam to process the fact that he’s the only in this scenario now.
Liam will kick himself for assuming the worst and having no faith in Hope at all. He screwed up massively by drinking tequila in the aftermath of that wrong assumption and sleeping with Steffy.
Liam will wrestle over whether he should tell Hope the truth, but Thomas’ health will be the focus on Monday anyway. It won’t be long until Hope decides she should go be with Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) father.
That’ll give Liam a chance to reel over this stunning turn of events and mull over his next move.
Back with Steffy and Ridge, they’ll still be in the dark on the details of Thomas’ sudden decline. Ridge and Steffy aren’t aware of the breakdown Thomas had right before his collapse.
Finn may touch on that, but Hope might be a better source since she saw it all happen with her own eyes.
Once Hope arrives at the hospital, she may fill Ridge and Steffy in on the mannequin drama and how emotional Thomas got about his state of mind. Thomas couldn’t understand what was happening to him, but none of this is his fault.
Hope will learn Thomas’ diagnosis soon and hold vigil along with Steffy and Ridge. B&B fans can expect everyone to rally around Thomas as they hope for the best.
