The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, September 17, teases that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) may have to play referee. B&B fans know Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) have been clashing over Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) interest in Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Thomas thinks jealousy is the real reason Liam’s so fixated on this, but Liam feels like Steffy’s vulnerable and needs to be looked after.
Once Ridge joins the confrontation, he’ll hear from both sides. Liam will once again spell out all the reasons why he’s concerned for Steffy – including Finn’s clouded judgment.
Liam just doesn’t think it’s a good idea to mix attraction and house calls, but Thomas will reiterate that Liam needs to back off and let Steffy live her own life. Liam chose Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), so he has no say in this.
After Ridge listens to Liam and Thomas, he’ll have a chance to weigh in. Ridge may think both Thomas and Liam make some good points, but Thomas will only see his own point of view as the right one.
As Liam keeps ranting about Finn, Thomas’ rage will explode. He just won’t be able to hold back any longer, so Ridge may intervene and encourage Thomas to calm down.
Thomas could easily veer into old “Crazy Thomas” territory if he isn’t careful, but he’ll rein it in eventually. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will embark on an apology tour next week, so B&B won’t want to cross the line too much with Thomas on Thursday.
They have to keep Thomas as one of the good guys for now, so he’ll mostly just be a protective big brother.
In the meantime, Steffy and Finn will bask in the afterglow of their first kiss. Since Finn told Steffy he couldn’t treat her any longer, this opens a whole new world for them.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy and Finn will get swept up in some intense feelings as they talk about the road ahead.
Finn won’t want to push Steffy or rush into anything, but he’s definitely hoping he can hang out with Steffy more often.
