The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Wednesday, August 5 Recap - Katie Warns Sally Wyatt Loves Flo - Thomas Worries About Steffy

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Wednesday, August 5, reveal that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) visited at the cliff house. Steffy reached for something and exclaimed in pain, and Ridge reminded her to keep up with her pain meds.

Suddenly, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) walked in with flowers for Steffy. “Something to brighten your day,” Thomas said softly.

Thomas asked how his sister was doing, and Steffy said she was happy to be home with her daughter, but she looked and sounded like she was in real pain and just wasn’t herself.

Ridge stepped out of the room to give Thomas and Steffy a moment together, and Thomas told Steffy that he just needed to know that she was ok. Ridge returned, and Thomas asked Steffy if she was really ok. Ridge piped up again about those pain meds.

Steffy asked how Thomas was doing, and Thomas said that it was hard not seeing Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) every day, but that he had spent a lot of time thinking about his recent behavior and that he had spoken with Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) regularly.

Ridge took off for the office, and Thomas told Steffy that she could stop “pretending” now. Steffy played dumb, and Thomas called her out on acting tough around Ridge.

“I can see right through you,” Thomas said. “You are in a lot more pain than you want anyone to know.” Thomas said that he had been driving up and down the coast recently and staying in touch with Douglas.

Steffy tried to reach for something and groaned in pain, and Thomas wondered if she needed a pain pill. Steffy said that she didn’t want to be compromised around Kelly Spencer (Colette and Avalon Gray). Thomas reminded her that accepting help isn’t a sign of weakness.

Later, Steffy was alone when Kelly called for “momma” on the baby monitor. Steffy called out to Kelly that she’d be right there, and Steffy picked up the pill bottle, looked at it, then put it down and went into Kelly’s room.

In the Forrester Creations CEO office, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) talked with Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) about how Steffy was doing and about how Brooke’s relationship with Ridge was going. Brooke said that she needed to be the strong one right now, and that Ridge was her destiny.

Soon, Ridge walked in and Donna made herself scarce. Brooke asked about Steffy, and Ridge admitted that he was worried about Steffy’s pain and how Steffy thinks she can tough it out.

Brooke started in with a monologue about how much they’d overcome and everything that’s happened recently, and when she mentioned Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards), Ridge flashed back to some moments with Shauna in Vegas, including kissing her at her apartment.

At the beach house, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) asked Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) what she wanted to do that evening, and they established that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) had gone over to Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) apartment.

After making love, Wyatt and Flo talked, with Wyatt going on about how great Flo was and how fortunate he felt that Flo picked him to love. Wyatt said that nothing would come between them, and Flo liked the sound of that.

At Sally’s apartment, Katie demanded to know why Sally pretended to be dying. Sally said that she wasn’t going to try to defend herself, but that she did it because she couldn’t bear losing Wyatt to Flo again. Katie ranted, saying that she thought Sally was better than that and she had considered Sally to be a friend.

Sally rehashed how she saw Katie at the hospital by chance and came up with her elaborate plan. Katie griped about how Sally had manipulated her, and Sally said that she was deeply ashamed of herself and that she was sorry, although she didn’t expect Katie’s forgiveness.

Katie said that she hoped Sally could find her way back to the person she was before this all happened, and that she needed to let go of her obsession with Wyatt. “He’s in love with Flo no matter what you do,” Katie said.
