The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for the week of August 17-21 tease that some hot drama’s coming up. For starters, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will struggle after running out of pain medication. Ibuprofen just isn’t going to cut it for Steffy, who’s clearly in agony right now.
When Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan makes another house call and sees how much pain Steffy’s in, will he change his mind about refilling her prescription? That’s certainly an option to consider – one that could leave Finn feeling responsible once Steffy inevitably gets hooked.
Of course, B&B fans know Steffy has other ways of getting her hands on more pain meds. There’s always Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) friend, Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero), who has a crush on Steffy. Vinny dabbles in drugs, so he could probably score whatever Steffy thinks she needs.
Whatever the case, Steffy’s going to face some issues – and they’re only going to get worse in the coming weeks. A full-blown addiction is definitely coming.
In the meantime, Steffy and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will find a reason to clash. Perhaps Hope will see that Steffy’s struggling to take care of Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) and offer to take care of her more often.
That’s the kind of thing that might make Steffy feel protective of her role as Kelly’s mother. Steffy may remind Hope that Kelly already has a mom and doesn’t need another one.
Hope is Kelly’s stepmother – and that’s great – but she has to know her place. It looks like Hope will just be trying to help, but Steffy’s up against a lot right now and may not see it that way.
Over with Shauna Forrester (Denise Richards), The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say she’ll be eager to spend time with her new husband. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will accept that this is his life now, so he’ll try to get to know Shauna and make the best of it.
Since Ridge will attempt to honor this commitment, bonding with Shauna is the next step.
However, Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) will have to keep a close eye on Shauna to make sure her guilt doesn’t blow this! It’d mean disaster if Shauna confessed their scheme.
As for Quinn, she’ll have a new plot cooking up soon. Quinn won’t think it’d hurt to have an insurance policy, so she’ll decide to give Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) a push toward his former flame, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Meanwhile, Brooke will have to deal with the idea of Ridge growing closer to Shauna. Will Brooke have a pity party or find her fierce side again? It’ll be interesting to see if Brooke does some digging and potentially exposes Shauna along with Quinn down the road.
