It is the road to the live shows! Nice talks about how he was nervous when he first started the show. Nick’s team includes Allegra from the USVI, who is only 16 years old. She feels like Nick can teach her a lot given his teen stardom. Nick believes she will be in the finals.

Also on Nick’s team is Arei. She is thrilled to have him as a mentor. Nick believes her best performance was in the knockouts. Arei loves Nock’s tips, she has been able to hit new notes with her singing.

Roderick, Team Nick, is a former boy band member and single dad. Nick’s belief in his talents has helped me believe in himself.

The coaches talk about Nick and his notebook. They love to make fun of his note-taking! Blake gave him a new notebook with stickers and a note “stage” so he remembers where to go. They all talk about how everyone loves Nick.

Thunderstorm from Hawaii is also from Team Nick. After hearing him sing Blackbird at the auditions, Nick knew he was one to watch. Nick lost him in the auction rounds but was able to steal him from John. Nick feels like he has a diverse group.

Kelly loves coaching The Voice. She loves being a part of these artists’ lives. She is ready to head into the loves and win this. Her team consists of Megan, a young woman raised by her single mother. Kelly loves her voice. She thinks Megan os her dark horse.

Cedrice originally started with John before going to Blake and then ending up with Kelly. She talks about her childhood with alopecia.

Kelly loves her energy and presence on stage. She is vulnerable yet strong. On to Nick and Kelly’s current rivalry. They tend to pick the same singers so they end up going toe to toe.

Kelly finally received her wish this season with Mandi who sings opera. Mandi blew her away when she auditioned. Blake loved her talent but he doesn’t know Opera. Mandi meets with James Taylor and Kelly, they both got Mandi top open up. Mandi loves being on her team.

Micah is the only male on Kelly’s team. She loves his voice. He has shown her his capabilities the whole way through. Nick thinks he is a force. Kelly loves her versatile team with a mix of genres.

John is back for a win. He is more competent than ever this season. The other coaches have noticed John and his name dropping! They tease him because he likes to win over the artists by sharing he knows Sade, Stevie Wonder, and more.

John’s first artist this season is Mandi who can sing in several languages. When the coaches all first heard her sing, they were all impressed. Nick became emotional. John is psyched to scoop her up for his team.

Female singer Zan is 23 from Seattle. She has been doing venues and gigs for a while. Coming to The Voice was her chance to shine on her own. Blake believes she is a singer and an artist. All of the coaches see her talent.

When singer Mike Jerel took to the stage, John knew he had to have him. Kelly sees him as a big threat. John loves his voice, the fire, and his confidence. Mike loves how John has guided him. He cannot wait to go to their lives.

Blake thinks John is a frustrated dancer at heart. He also thinks he sucks. Nick teases John’s moves. John shares that he is always dancing in his chair because he is a pianist.

Camwess of Team John, now Team Kelly, just turned 22. He is a full-time student and performs gigs to pay his rent. He was paired off to sing against Mandi Castillo. After losing out, Kelly stole him. John regrets not having him on his team. After Camwess lost out on Kelly’s team, John stole him back. John believes they belong together.

Blake is up next. He has won six times. He has used his signature tactics to win his artists this season. On Team Blake is Todd. He is a 42-year-old artist with a lot of energy.

Blake is also bringing a female MMA fighter to the lives. Joei first performed and Blake knew he wanted her on his team. To get her, he blocked Nick. In the battles, Joei won against Todd.

The coaches talk about how Blake is the OG coach. They tell him he better win soon or they are going to start to wonder. They reflect back on Blake’s word choices so far this season. They believe he makes up words. He denies it, saying he rediscovers words. John believes his approach to the English language is singular.

Toneisha of Team Blake loves being on his team. Blake has been pushing her all season long. She thinks Blake is also funny and challenges her. She will cherish this opportunity forever.

Blake is also taking Joanna to the lives. She was on Nick’s team first, then was stolen by John before Blake was able to steal her. He knew when he first heard her she was supposed to be on his team.

Team Blake in his eyes is so good that it makes the other teams smell. Blake laughs. He has artists from all walks of life and this is going to be the year of his seventh win.

The coaches and artists are asked about the first album they ever bought. John’s first album was by Whitney Houston. Several of the female artists share their love for the Jonas Brothers. Some of the younger artists have never bought a CD! Kelly recalls her diskman.

This season was the first time the show featured a 4-way knockout. John helped Nelson prepare while Blake worked with Todd. Nick coached Michael for the 4-way knockout. Nick used his only save to get him there. Kelly worked with Samantha, who was thrilled Kelly gave her another chance.
