The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will soon feel like she’s living her worst nightmare. Y&R fans know Abby feels like she’s finally found the perfect guy for her.
Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) accepts Abby for who she is and doesn’t try to change her. They make plenty of magic in the bedroom and understand each other, so Abby sees a long, happy future ahead.
After Chance proposes, Abby will really feel like everything’s coming together perfectly. However, Abby’s world will come crashing down after Chance dives in front of a bullet meant for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Abby tried to warn Chance his connection to Adam would only lead to trouble! She’ll be a mess once she gets the horrifying news that Chance has been shot. Thankfully, Chance will live to tell the tale – and that should make Abby even more determined to make Chance her husband ASAP.
Ordinarily, Abby might’ve taken the time to plan an elaborate wedding, but she probably won’t care about the details after Chance’s brush with death. Just knowing she could’ve lost Chance should move Abby to become his wife quickly.
Once Chance recovers from his gunshot wound, we’ll likely see a speedy wedding for Chance and Abby.
Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) recently tweeted a picture that backs up this idea. He was on set with Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott) – and they were both dressed like it was for something special.
There was also a flower arrangement fit for a wedding hanging above the doorway. Victor and Ashley are the parents of the bride, so all the puzzle pieces seem to fit here.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby will make a choice that stuns her family and even herself in the coming weeks. Abby and Arturo Rosales’ (Jason Canela) nuptials never happened, but the engagement was highly publicized and put Abby in the spotlight.
Stepping out of that spotlight for something less flashy might be a surprising decision for Abby.
Abby may opt for a small, lowkey gathering as soon as possible. Chance seems down for anything, so he should be all in on whatever Abby wants. All that’ll matter to these two is making a commitment and solidifying their future together.
