The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will refuse to abandon Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Y&R fans know Victor had Adam committed with Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) help, but he doesn’t intend to bail on his son.
Victor already visited Adam’s facility to give his son a pep talk, but Adam’s too furious to accept advice or treatment.
Sadly, it doesn’t look like Adam will be ready to surrender during the week of November 30-December 4. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will battle concerns about Adam’s future.
Part of Victor may wonder if Adam will have to stay locked up forever. Adam is incredibly volatile and stubborn, which isn’t a good combination since he needs to calm down and listen to his doctors.
Despite Victor’s fears about what’s ahead for Adam, he’ll continue to pay his son visits. Unfortunately, the next one may bring a violent outburst – perhaps even one that results in injuries for Victor.
Y&R fans can expect Victor to make an SOS call, but The Young and the Restless spoilers also say he’ll have to defend himself during the week of December 7-11.
Of course, it’s possible Victor will defend his choice to put Adam in the facility, but most of Genoa City thinks Victor made the right choice.
Only Adam and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) would make sense as people Victor would defend his choice to – and Victor’s already done that anyway. He’s spelled out his reasons, so there’s no need to get into it again.
Instead, Victor may have to physically defend himself against Adam’s attack. It’s clear that Adam’s out of control, so this seems like the next logical story step.
Adam might even flash back to killing AJ Montalvo in a fit of rage. This could be the turning point that helps Adam see that Young Adam (Dane West) is right – and that he has to take advantage of this chance to get rid of the monster.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that monster is obviously still inside if Adam’s going to attack his own father and potentially injure him. Victor probably won’t be too badly hurt, but he may have to lay off the visits for a while. Perhaps Adam will finally see what he’s become and put in the work to get better.
