The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will believe that she might be Hilary Hamilton’s (Morgan’s first role on the show) twin sister. A blood test sparks this long-anticipated storyline question, with a reveal seemingly likely.
It’s natural for any Y&R viewer and all Hevon fans to believe that the Amanda reveal as Hilary’s previously unknown biological sister would also lead to a reimagined edition of Hevon, that could be light-heartedly referred to as Demanda.
But that could be the twist, meaning that romance doesn’t initially spark between Amanda and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Introducing Mishael Morgan, A Great Actor
Morgan debuted as Ann Turner, which was believed to be the real name of that character. This actor’s addition to the cast in 2013 was a clear winner through 2018 and her return, in 2019, was certainly cheered.
Ann was Cane Ashby’s (Daniel Goddard) assistant, when he was working at Chancellor Industries. She came to Genoa City, Wisconsin, seeking revenge against Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) because circumstantial evidence seemed to indicate that he was responsible for her mother’s (Rose Turner, as played by Leslie Stevens in a retrospective role) death.
Cane and the Ashby family was targeted as part of Ann’s plan. However, it was later confirmed that Rose died of alcohol poisoning, which vindicated Neil.
Changing her name to Hilary Curtis, Morgan’s initial character came to marry Neil. She was later involved in an affair with Devon, during the period where Neil was blind. St. John’s character learned that damaging truth as his vision was restored in what was a memorable climax.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Devon & Hilary Were A Great Y&R Power Couple
There’s no doubt that any discussion of Y&R’s 2010’s era must include a detailed mention of Hevon. The on-screen chemistry this particular couple projected was highly compelling.
Devon helped to channel Hilary’s talent through the acquisition of an online platform. GC Buzz, which also included the great Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland), proved to be the vehicle that propelled Hilary to electric force status.
Hevon’s love story ended with a well-written tragedy, as Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) was the distracted driver who was at the wheel at the point of impact. Hilary and Devon lost what would have been their first child in the crash. Hilary died days later in the hospital after a proper daytime sendoff that included numerous characters.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – No New Story To Tell, Amanda & Devon Should Not Get Together?
Believing that Y&R won’t instantly write Amanda and Devon together doesn’t mean that this pairing will never happen. If the current playbook serves as a guide, Y&R can purposely defer Demanda to the future.
Just as the Amanda-Hilary connection was teased, but rarely mentioned until now, so too could the decision to use both strong actors (Morgan and James) be put off for awhile. The audience knows that this arc would remain in reserve and could develop naturally, over time.
