The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) private investigator will uncover some new info about her family background. Since Amanda is Hilary Curtis Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) twin, she’ll want to give Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) updates on what she’s learned.
Of course, Amanda also considers Devon to be a good friend – and they could perhaps become even more soon. The point is Devon is invested in Amanda’s search for answers, so he’ll certainly be interested in what she has to say.
It turns out Amanda will find out some details on her true birth mother and how Rose Turner ended up with Hilary. Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) was actually Rose’s cousin and came from a rich family. After Naya went to college, she took a sabbatical – and later, Rose suddenly had a baby.
Obviously, Rose decided to raise one of her cousin’s twins, but this will bring even more questions for Amanda. Y&R spoilers say Amanda will wonder why Naya would allow one daughter to be adopted by Rose while the other went into the foster care system.
The fact that Naya came from money will bother Amanda as well. Amanda will feel abandoned and betrayed since Naya could’ve made sure she was taken care of. Even if Naya didn’t want Amanda back then, Amanda will feel like Naya had the wealth to at least look for her daughter later.
None of this will make any sense to Amanda, who’ll ultimately decide the answers to her questions may only bring more pain. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda will be torn over the photo her PI gives her. Amanda will finally see her biological mother after so many years of wondering who she is and what she looked like.
Even so, Amanda will want to protect her heart and will opt out of trying to meet with Naya for now. However, Amanda’s private investigator will get in touch again with more news on Naya. A text will reveal that Naya only lives an hour away, so that’ll leave Amanda conflicted again.
Since Naya is so close, Amanda won’t be able to resist seeking her bio mom out and asking all her burning questions. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda won’t want to do this alone, so she’ll call up Devon and ask him to join her.
This will lead to a little Christmas Eve adventure – one that’ll reunite Amanda with her mom and perhaps another sister as well. In addition to Ptosha Storey’s debut as Naya, Leigh-Ann Rose will also make her debut as Imani Benedict on December 24.
Y&R fans can probably expect some heartfelt moments since it’s Christmastime. It’s tough to imagine holiday heartbreak here! Maybe Naya will have some answers that help Amanda understand why she made the choices she made.
