The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has been reflecting on a message from Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams). After Dina’s clue pointed to that Bixby home movie, Jack was able to hear a message from a young John Abbott (Jonathan Stoddard), too.
Now Jack’s committed to making the most of life and finding love again.
During a conversation with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) recently, Jack insisted there was someone out there for him. Jack added that he just has to find her. Of course, that means Y&R could be cooking up a brand-new love story.
Will The Young and the Restless cast a new leading lady to be paired up with Jack? If so, Jack may end up quite surprised following his search for a piece of Dina’s past. That home movie hunt wasn’t the last wish that’ll be granted. There’ll be some other hint from Dina soon – part two of what Dina wants as she nears the end.
Dina’s first message opened Jack’s heart to the possibility of love. It made Jack hopeful and convinced him to go after a new romance – at least when that perfect woman walks into his life. What will the next chapter bring?
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will get some assistance on the second Dina mission. Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will help Jack as they work to find a memento – something that relates to Dina’s love story with John.
However, the real goal of this storyline may be setting up a new love story for Jack. Will Dina’s past lead Jack to his future? Jack might cross paths with the woman of his dreams – maybe even someone who can help solve this Dina mystery somehow.
Jack will feel like he’s searching for this trinket as a parting gift for Dina, but perhaps Dina will be the one who gives the ultimate gift in the end: the gift of love. Dina’s death could set up a new life for Jack with someone he can build a future with. It’d be a great way to offset the sadness that’s looming due to Dina’s inevitable passing.
Jack will be devastated by his mother’s death, but it’d soften the blow if his final journey for Dina brought a lovely lady into his life. If all goes well, this woman could become Jack’s bride down the road.
Since this story may be about Jack finding “the one,” marriage could certainly be waiting at the end of all this – and Dina would deserve most of the credit!
