The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, August 14, tease that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will spend some time with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Some bonding moments are coming up, so this is obviously a big shift from how things used to be.
Devon was initially furious by the sight of Amanda alone. Between Amanda’s resemblance to Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) and all drama surrounding the will scam, Devon had some good reasons to keep Amanda at a distance.
However, it’s not Amanda’s fault that she looks like Hilary. She wasn’t to blame for Colin Atkinson’s (Tristan Rogers) will scheme either. Devon eventually accepted that and made peace with Amanda, but they’ll grow a bit closer on Friday.
This should start to feel like a true friendship, but complications are brewing down the road.
In the meantime, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will push for peace within the Newman family. Nikki will be sick of all the fighting, so she’ll try to restore some semblance of normalcy – if there is such a thing for the Newmans! Unfortunately, Nikki will only manage to rile everyone up even further.
It sounds like Nikki will make Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) particularly angry. Nikki may manage to fuel the conflict between Victoria and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), who always seems to take Adam’s side in Victoria’s opinion.
Since Victoria’s tired of Adam never paying the price, she’ll ultimately pay Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) a visit to discuss the changes in the story she previously told him.
As for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), we’ll see if Y&R picks up where they left off. Adam shows up looking for help from Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) on Thursday, so Friday may bring Adam’s pitch.
Regardless, Adam will want Sharon to be his therapist – and that request will stir up major drama with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) in the coming episodes.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will share some puzzling news with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Ashley will get updates on Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) outburst from Thursday.
Jack will note that Dina said the name “Bixley,” but Ashley won’t know what that means any more than Jack does.
However, Ashley and Jack will reflect on some Abbott family history, which could offer some clues. These siblings will discuss some of the highs and lows in the Abbott clan’s past. It probably won’t be long until they have a Bixley trail to follow!
