The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that a face from Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) past will resurface. Maria DiDomenico is set to reprise the role of Alyssa Montalvo, so look for her to pop up on September 2. Let’s talk about how Alyssa might fight into the picture.
Adam tried to contact Alyssa after Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) revealed his version of Kansas events, but Alyssa shut Adam down. In fact, Alyssa warned Adam not to contact her again. It seems like Alyssa’s rattled and just wants to move on with her life.
Victor certainly put some fear in Alyssa when he met with her, so she knows better than to get involved here. As far as Alyssa’s concerned, the past needs to stay buried. Of course, that won’t be possible since Adam’s so determined to remember that horrible night.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) isn’t certain this will give Adam the closure he’s seeking. There’s definitely the possibility that it could backfire and send Adam’s world crashing down.
Adam has no way of predicting what those memories will do to him, but Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) feels like Adam could be haunted forever if he doesn’t get answers.
It sounds like Adam will be haunted either way, so Adam might as well dig for the truth. Adam will take a trip to Kansas during the week of August 24-28, so that could set up an Alyssa sighting the following week.
If Adam ends up recalling exactly what happened, he might feel the need to seek Alyssa out and apologize for killing her father, AJ Montalvo.
Then again, Adam may still be trying to spark something at that point. Alyssa might become a crucial part of how Adam remembers, even if she isn’t on board. Regardless, it’s safe to say Alyssa’s wishing she’d never ran into Adam during his wedding planning tripi!
That’s what started this whole nightmare, but how will it end? Time will tell, but Adam’s obviously going to face a memory flood sooner or later. We’ll keep you posted on the hottest Y&R news and updates.
