The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, January 13 Review - Sharon Suffers Through Biopsy - Billy & Victoria Argue - Connor Traumatized

The Young and the Restless spoilers review for Monday, January 13, tease that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will have a lot on her mind on the day of her biopsy. At home, Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will talk a mile a minute about needing to go shopping for a new comforter, but Sharon will be distracted and will snap at Faith when Faith catches her not listening.

Sharon will apologize, but Faith will sense that something’s really wrong with her mom. Later, Sharon will head to her biopsy alone, while Faith goes shopping with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for her comforter.

Faith will tell her dad that something seems to be bothering Sharon, but Nick won’t make too much of it. Meanwhile, Sharon will have her biopsy as she nervously tells herself to be positive.

Afterwards, Sharon will head home, with Nick and Faith showing up shortly after she returns. Sharon will decline to see what Faith got on the shopping trip, instead saying that she’s tired and wants to take a nap. She just won’t seem like her normal self, and Faith and Nick will look at each other, worried.

Meanwhile, at Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) penthouse, he and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will wake up late, as Chelsea will have the morning off from work.

They’ll decide to do something family-oriented, when Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) comes along and reveals that he already has a plan for them. He’ll reveal a little breakfast set up for his parents, complete with cereal, toaster pastries, and waffles.

Connor will cutely suggest they pray before they eat, and he’ll offer thanks for his family, including Oliver the cat. They’ll play games after breakfast, but trouble will ensue when it’s time for Chelsea to go to work, as he’s still afraid of the Grand Phoenix. He’ll tell his mom that he doesn’t want her to go back there after what happened.

Later, Adam and Chelsea will wonder how to handle the situation. Ultimately, they’ll decide to discuss the situation with their new therapist, and they’ll unite together and decide that they can handle the issue. They’ll be a team, and they’ll vow to get through this before happily kissing.

Next, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be back from Singapore, and immediately she and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will get off on the wrong foot. She’ll worry about his consulting job coming to a close, and she’ll get even more concerned when Billy reveals that he’s stopped seeing his therapist.

They’ll argue about whether Billy needs therapy or not, and finally Billy will say that he wishes she could accept him for who is is rather than trying to fix him.

Victoria won’t really know what to make of that, and Billy will try to explain that trying tp pretend to be who she wants him to be is taking a toll on him. Victoria will insist that she doesn’t want him to pretend to be anyone.

Billy will say he’s had moments where he’s felt more liberated and free than in a long time, but that he wasn’t relapsing or thinking about gambling.

Ultimately, Billy and Victoria will end their conversation on good terms, and as Billy holds her, he’ll think to himself that she sees him as damaged goods, and that he’s not sure he knows who he is, but that he’s starting to feel good.

Finally, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will get honest with both Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Second, during a conversation with Elena about the search for Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers), he’ll admit that he’s had a difficult time with the fact that Amanda looks just like Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan).

Of course, this won’t come as a surprise for Elena, who has known about his struggle for a while. Elena will be understanding and mostly she’ll be glad that he was able to tell her the truth about something that was so difficult to talk about.

Elena will vow to be there to help him through this, while not making it the center of their lives. Later, Devon will be wrapping up a meeting at Society when Amanda walks in. She’ll immediately brace for an attack, but instead Devon will invite her to sit.

Amanda will listen as Devon offers an admission of his behavior, which was driven largely by the fact that she looks like Hilary. He’ll admit that it started to consume him, and that he’s sorry.

Devon will just want to peacefully coexist, and Amanda will appreciate that. She’ll get a text and have to go, but before she leaves, Devon will have one more thing to say.

Devon will then ruin everything he just said by insinuating that Amanda might know where Colin is, and that even if she does, he’ll be able to deal with it.

That will peeve Amanda, and she’ll leave after saying that she just wants to be done with this. Devon will note that Amanda didn’t deny knowing where Colin was.
