The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, January 27 Review - Someone Snaps Photos of Billy & Amanda - Kyle Rejects Summer After Kiss

The Young and the Restless spoilers review for Monday, January 27, tease that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will arrive at the dive bar to meet with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). She’ll take one look at Billy and realize that he must have talked to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

Billy will confirm and say that it didn’t go well, and that Victoria just wanted him to get help, which is her solution for everything.

Billy will then lament that it’s hard to talk with Victoria, yet so easy to talk with Amanda. Amanda will ask how much of this is her fault, and if Victoria is upset because he turned to another woman. Billy will protest. insisting that they’re just friends, and that they’re not having an affair.

However, Amanda will point out that Billy hasn’t acted like they’re just friends, and she’ll say that she feels like she’s crossing a line in someone’s marriage. She’ll go on to say that their relationship isn’t healthy and that it isn’t real or sustainable, and that sooner or later everyone needs to face their problems.

Ultimately, Amanda will end their friendship, and before she goes, Billy will thank her for listening to him. She’ll just be sorry that she couldn’t do anything more for him, and she’ll wish him luck.

The whole thing will feel like a sad breakup and they’ll both be somber…and as they’re parting, someone will snap photos of them together.

So, who’s snapping those photos? Well, one possibility is that it could be Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). As Y&R viewers will remember, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) hired Chance to keep tabs on Amanda, so he could be doing his job and tracking Amanda’s whereabouts and associations.

If so, then Devon should soon know all about Amanda and Billy’s friendship. But there’s another possibility, and that’s that it could be Amanda’s ex, Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes), who will soon be seen in Genoa City.

As Amanda has described, Ripley was controlling and she ultimately had to get a restraining order for protection from him, so he could have someone tracking her down and/or watching her.

Meanwhile, on the new episode of Y&R on Monday, January 27, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will return to Kyle’s hotel suite after their business meeting. They’ll be feeling celebratory, since they closed the deal and made a big acquisition.

They’ll bust out the beer from the minibar and Summer will order room service as they playfully banter back and forth, clearly enjoying each other’s company.

Soon, the topic of Summer’s breakup with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will come up, and Summer will remark that she’s happy being single. She’ll then wonder if Kyle is happy, and he’ll deflect before finally answering yes, that he is.

Summer will note that his relationship and marriage to Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) happened pretty quickly, and the issue of Theo’s interference will come up.

Summer will wonder why it bothers Kyle so much that Theo hangs out with Lola, and she’ll opine that maybe Theo’s a symptom of a bigger problem between them.

Kyle will scowl as Summer goes on about how she knows who Kyle really is and that she just wants to see him happy. And with that, Summer will lean in to kiss Kyle. They’ll kiss passionately for a moment, then Kyle will pull away.

Kyle will immediately apologize, and he’ll say that he knows where the kiss came from – their history and their connection – but that Summer misunderstood, and that whatever issues he and Lola were having, that they were going to work through them.

Summer will then say that she felt stupid, but Kyle will assure her that they are fine.

Summer will want to know if they are just supposed to forget that the kiss had happened, and Kyle will say that it was already forgotten, prompting Summer to get her things and leave.

Kyle will then plop down on the couch and sigh big. Of course, now Kyle’s got a major problem on his hands, as he’ll ultimately have to tell Lola about the kiss.

According to Y&R spoilers, he’ll at first try to get by without disclosing the kiss to Lola, but ultimately she’ll drag it out of him when she notices that he seems off. One wonders just how major of a blowup that will be.

Something tells us that Lola’s not going to be understanding, especially if Kyle tells the truth and admits that he kissed back for a while. It should be quite a scene.
