The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, October 12, teases that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will make her position crystal clear. Y&R fans know Chloe and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) have some major developments to discuss.
Chelsea will naturally want to congratulate Chloe on the birth of her new son, so Chloe should be grateful for the well wishes.
However, it won’t take long for the conversation to shift to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and the destruction Chloe thinks he’s brought to Chelsea’s life. Chloe may feel like Chelsea’s life has only gone downhill since she got back together with Adam.
Now that the launch of Chelsea’s fashion line has been ruined and Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) been forced off to boarding school, Chloe will hope Chelsea sees the light.
She’ll wonder just how much more damage Chelsea intends to let Adam do. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chloe will think Chelsea would be better off dumping Adam since everything he touches turns to chaos.
Of course, Chelsea won’t think Chloe’s being fair since it’s Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) who launched this round of turmoil. Chelsea will suggest that if Chloe’s looking for someone to blame, she should look no further than her bitter ex.
Billy will be the only problem here as far as Chelsea’s concerned, so she’ll refuse to bail on Adam and will vow to fight Billy with everything she’s got.
While Chelsea and Chloe argue, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will get a proposal that catches him off guard. This might have something to do with Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) looming test results.
Sharon just had surgery again, so her next scan outcome is crucial. It could basically let Sharon know whether she’ll live or die.
We’ll see that weigh heavily on Sharon, so she may propose something related to what Rey should do if this all goes south for her. Sharon will definitely make some preparations soon – just in case she doesn’t make it out of this battle alive.
On the other hand, Rey’s big on optimism and Sharon knows that. It’s possible that despite her fears, Sharon will offer a positive plan. She might even make this a marriage proposal if she drops a hint about taking that step once she’s recovered.
Whatever the case, Rey will remain Sharon’s rock no matter what! He’ll brace for the test results right along with Sharon – and those are coming up later this week.
In the meantime, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will lash out over Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). It’s Kyle who’ll get blamed for all the elopement drama with Summer Newman (Hunter King).
Will Kyle be back in town to face the backlash in person? Phyllis may assume Kyle and Summer’s marriage went ahead as planned, but did it really? Summer was battling serious doubts when we last saw her.
Although Summer’s been trying to convince herself everything’s fine, she’s been insecure and concerned about eloping.
It seems like there are two ways this could go: either Summer backed out of marrying Kyle or went through with it and is now suffering bride’s remorse. Regardless, Summer will keep to herself in the week ahead – and Kyle will be on the receiving end of Phyllis’ wrath.
