The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Friday, October 30, tease that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will chat at the Chancellor mansion.
Chelsea will be back from the hospital after her fainting spell, and she’ll mention that her CT scan was normal and that she’s waiting for some test results to come back.
Chloe will learn about Chelsea’s request to see Johnny Abbott (Holden and Ryan Hare) and how Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) freaked out over it.
Chelsea and Chloe will also discuss coming up with a cool alias for their fashion company, and then Chloe and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will suggest that Chelsea move into the Chancellor mansion. Chelsea will happily accept.
Over at Crimson Lights, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will tell Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) that he’s sorry for telling her how he feels about her. Elena will relay that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) wants nothing to do with her, and she’ll wonder how Nate’s hand is doing.
Nate will say that he’s got an appointment scheduled with the doctor for later.
A short time later, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will walk in and see Nate. Lily will wonder how Nate could have done this to Devon, and she’ll be glad that Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) isn’t there to see this.
Nate will only blame himself for his hand injury when Lily asks about it, and Lily will say that Devon forgave her, so anything’s possible here.
At Chancellor Communications, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will arrive to ask Billy for a truce. Billy will be skeptical, but Adam will say that he’s cut ties with his family, and that the exposé made him take a hard look at himself. Billy will be stunned by Adam’s apparent sincerity, but he’ll still be cautious.
Later, Lily will arrive, and Billy will ask if Lily has been avoiding him. Lily will share details about her conversation with Victoria the other day, and Lily will say that she trusts what they have as partners and friends. Billy will ask if he can take Lily to dinner to discuss something important. Lily will agree.
At the Grand Phoenix, Devon will be back from New York looking a little partied out, and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will worry about him. Devon will ask if Amanda is going to investigate her past any further, and Amanda won’t be sure.
Devon will encourage Amanda to keep going. Later, in her suite, Amanda will call her private investigator to set up a meeting with Nadine, who was neighbors with her birth mother Rose Turner.
At Society, Adam will see Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), and Adam will ask about Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams). Jack will report that Dina passed away, and after some talk about that, Adam will tell Jack that he’s finally out of the darkness and that he and Chelsea split.
Adam will say that he’s only interested in the present, and Jack will ask what Adam has planned. Adam will only say that Jack will know soon enough, which will worry Jack.
Later, Billy and Lily will dine at Society, and Billy will tell Lily about his conversation with Adam earlier. Lily will think that perhaps Adam just wants peace now, and that she’ll have cautious optimism about the situation. Lily and Billy will banter happily and easily over dinner.
At the New Hope Clinic, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will come to see Nate, who will report that the damage to his hand is worse than he wants to admit and that it scares him.
Nick will offer to talk, and he’ll promise not to judge Nate. Nate will relay that he cares deeply about Elena, but that it upset her when he opened up to her, and Nate will think that he needs to focus on his recovery without Elena.
At Elena and Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) apartment, Devon will arrive to talk to Elena. Devon will say that Nate and Elena probably belong together or else the affair wouldn’t have happened.
Devon will say that he wants Elena to be happy with Nate if that’s what she wants. Elena will think that Devon’s being cruel, and she’ll tell Devon how happy she was with him and she’ll credit him for giving her someone to love and to fight for.
“So, why’d you throw it all away, then?” Devon will fire back. Devon will go on, saying that Elena made a conscious choice to cross the line with his cousin, and that he won’t forgive that. Devon will leave, and Elena will be sad and frustrated.
At Adam’s penthouse, Adam will type away furiously on his laptop, clearly hard at work on some project. Adam will glance at a picture of Chelsea and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) sitting nearby, and he’ll put the photo in a drawer.
Back at the Grand Phoenix, Lily and Billy will be waiting for the elevator, and Billy will thank Lily for having dinner with him. Lily will say that Billy could read her well, like the other day when he picked up on her impulse to kiss him.
Billy will say that they decided to walk away from that, and when the elevator arrives and they get in, Lily will say that she’s not walking away now, and she and Billy will kiss.
