The Young and the Restless Spoilers Review: Tuesday, October 27 – Phyllis Leverages Billy Over Sleeping With Summer – Lola’s ‘Skyle’ Outburst

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers review for Tuesday, October 27, teases that some surprises are happening across Genoa City. At Chancellor Communications, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) shows up looking for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), who’s in a meeting at The Grand Phoenix and won’t be back for a while. Victoria doesn’t mind waiting and is eager to talk to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) alone.

Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) rants to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about an email from the sham of a company Victoria created to secure 75 percent ownership of the hotel. Nick begs Phyllis to just let him buy Victoria out, but she protests.

Suddenly, a disguised Summer Newman (Hunter King) appears, but Phyllis recognizes daughter’s perfume and heels. Phyllis hurls questions at her until Summer turns around and greets her parents. Summer gets a lecture for being in Genoa City for a few days already while Nick and Phyllis were worried sick.

Phyllis rants about Summer lurking around looking like Carmen Sandiego – and Nick wants answers about why Summer’s marriage to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) didn’t happen.

Summer doesn’t want to talk about it right now and is eager for everything to get back to normal. She heads upstairs to take a long bath and get ready for her first day back at Jabot tomorrow.

At Crimson Lights, Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) helps Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) clean up before apologizing over a text she has to handle or else she’ll be “totally out of the loop.”

Sharon gets how important friends are and thinks it’s time for a change. She’s on the road to recovery, so she wants to get back to pre-cancer life and let Faith have her friends over.

At Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) apartment, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) has gotten herself settled in. Lola’s glad it all worked out and notes that Elena is a lot more fun than the last person she lived with: Kyle.

Speaking of fun, Lola has an idea about how to have some tonight. She suggests getting dressed up, having drinks at The Grand Phoenix, grabbing dinner at a new restaurant and then having a nightcap at Society.

Elena isn’t sure she’s ready to go to The Grand Phoenix yet; she hasn’t been back since the night when all the drama with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) happened.

Lola argues that Elena has to get back on the horse at some point. She thinks it’d be better to give it a try now – that way if they fail, they can just stay holed up in the apartment from now on.

Lola feels like this will be good for Elena in the end. “Sometimes what we think we want isn’t really what’s best for us,” Lola admits.

Elena isn’t in a “night on the town mood,” so Lola admits she’s been there before. She talks about how Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) dragged her out for a good time. It didn’t fix Lola’s problems, but it still helped. It takes some convincing, but Elena gets on board.

In Summer’s suite, Kyle is on the phone and talks about needing to have a few more things sent up. He’s hoping to get them right away for the special night he has planned. Later, Summer walks in and is upset over Kyle breaking into her room.

Kyle wants to prove he can be trusted. He had some help since his fiancée’s mom owns the hotel and he knows some of the staff. “I’m not your fiancée anymore, Kyle,” Summer insists. Kyle notes that Summer is still wearing the ring, so it must mean something to her.

Kyle still wants to marry Summer, so he asks for a half hour to prove why they’re meant to be. If Kyle can’t convince Summer, he promises to walk out that door and never come back. Summer eventually sits down and prepares to see what Kyle’s hidden under four silver domes.

Down in the lobby, Nick doesn’t buy that Summer just woke up and had an epiphany. Phyllis agrees there had to have been red flags, but she thinks they should be grateful their daughter isn’t Mrs. Kyle Abbott.

Nick is frustrated over Phyllis and Summer not accepting his help, but Phyllis insists she has an idea on how to handle Victoria. At Chance Comm again, Victoria notes that Billy and Lily seem to be getting along quite well. “Why do I feel like you have something to say about that?” Lily wonders.

Victoria isn’t a jealous ex-wife trying to mark her territory; she just wants to offer her perspective. Although Victoria gets that Billy has his good points, he has a dark side, too.

Billy gives into his worst impulses when he shouldn’t. Victoria thinks Billy will always choose risk over stability, so she warns Lily to keep her guard up – both for Lily’s sake and the sake of the company.

Back in Summer’s suite, Kyle begins his presentation with a familiar childhood photo. Summer and Kyle have known each other their whole lives – and they’ve never lost that connection. Next, Kyle plays the song they danced to before he moved to New York. He hopes they get to dance to it again.

Kyle argues that Summer is part of him; he can’t imagine his life without Summer. After Kyle presents a cherry stem ring that remade, he moves on to the final dome.

Kyle invites Summer to open it herself, so she does and finds the key ring Kyle was going to give her – for the home where they were going to build their future together. Kyle thinks they could still have that home and future.

Summer is overwhelmed and acknowledges this is so romantic. Kyle wants Summer to let go of any fears that something’s still going on with Lola. Summer says this is supposed to be about them, but Kyle can’t resist bringing up Lola’s name.

Kyle continues to bring up Lola as he tries to explain. “Stop saying her name!” Summer shouts. An exasperated Kyle says they can talk about this letter, but Summer declares that it over.

Nick joins Faith, who’s a bit distracted by texts at the coffeehouse. Faith assures her dad that she’s going to keep her end of the bargain – no more sneaking out and total honesty about her plans.

Nick’s glad and warns Faith that if she’s tempted to do something she shouldn’t, she should just remember her dad telling her “don’t.”

As for Phyllis, she corners Billy and updates him on her feud with Victoria. Phyllis is hoping Billy can score her a bank statement or some sort of plan… “You want me to spy on the mother of my children?” Billy asks.

Phyllis is just asking for a small piece of intel in the interest of fairness. She argues that Billy owes her since Summer has trust issues with men. “Where did she get those?” Phyllis snaps, implying that Billy played a role by using sleeping with Summer for passionate revenge.

Billy insists he’s not that man anymore, but Phyllis thinks Billy’s old behavior still eats away at him. It’d wipe the slate clean for Phyllis if Billy did this. Billy isn’t down for doing Phyllis a “greasy favor” and won’t rock the boat with Victoria.

Next, Faith introduces her friend, Jordan (Madison Thompson), to Nick and Sharon. Faith mentions that Jordan’s brother is in her class – and Sharon remembers Jordan doing choir.

Jordan admits she’s taking a little break from choir this year and compliments the retro look of the coffeehouse. When Sharon offers hot chocolate, Jordan politely asks for green tea with lemon instead.

Once Sharon steps in the kitchen, Nick asks if Jordan was the person that Faith met up with the other night. Jordan takes the blame, but Faith insists she could’ve said no to meeting up.

The girls impress Nick by how they’re taking handling all this. Jordan assures “Mr. Newman” that she doesn’t want to cause any trouble.

Later, Jordan gloats to Faith about her improv skills and offers tips on how to fool her parents. The keys are making up more rules to follow and building trust. Jordan thinks it’s dumb when other girls are “such bitches” to their parents. “The more perfect you act, the more you can get away with,” Jordan says with a grin.

At the apartment again on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Elena borrows one of Lola’s dresses and gets compliments from her roomie. They make a deal not to talk about men or relationships tonight.

Later, Billy arrives to find Victoria and Lily chatting. After Lily steps out to take a call, Victoria offers news on the security system improvements. Billy notes that Adam denied the break-in, though he’s also a compulsive liar.

Once Victoria brings Billy up to speed on how she set Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) straight regarding Johnny Abbott (Holden and Ryan Hare), she mentions that Chelsea left Adam.

Talk turns to Victoria’s move against Phyllis, so Billy wonders if it’s really worth the energy. Victoria asks if Phyllis put Billy up to this and wonders if Phyllis has some sort of leverage on him.

Billy sighs and tells Victoria that she’s right – that she should do what she needs to do. Victoria still looks a little suspicious as she leaves. Once Lily reconvenes with Billy, he looks pensive after Lily leaves in a hurry.

At Society, Nick tells Phyllis that he thinks she thrives on chaos. He feels like it’s kind of hot to watch Phyllis deal with turbulence.

Nick wonders if Phyllis has thought about his proposition – and Phyllis admits her plan sort of blew up in her face. Even so, Phyllis can’t let Nick help her out of this jam.

In The Grand Phoenix lobby on Tuesday’s Young and the Restless episode, Kyle follows Summer down as they argue. Lola’s sitting nearby with Elena for their night out. “What is wrong with you?” Lola pipes up. She points out to Summer that Kyle is standing there begging her to take him back.

“And you’re going to ruin the best thing that’s ever happened to you because of your insecurities?” Lola asks. She yells that Kyle is a great guy. Summer should go be happy!

Lola calms down and apologizes for being out of line, but she feels like it’s stupid for “Skyle” not to be together after everything they’ve gone through.

After Lola leaves with Elena, Summer argues that Kyle and Lola are working awfully hard to convince her that nothing is going on. Kyle wants to keep talking, but Summer maintains that it’s over.
