The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sasha Calle Releases Song - Lola Rosales' Fans, Costars Respond With Delight

The Young and the Restless spoilers has some fun news to pass on about a popular Y&R star. Sasha Calle, who portrays Lola Rosales on the CBS soap, recently released some music – specifically, a song called “Ex-Factor” that’s a cover of a Lauren Hill song.

A few days ago, Sasha shared a short video snippet with her Instagram followers of someone mixing the song in studio, along with the following caption: “A little surprise coming out this week. Excited to share this with you. X.”

Then Sasha released another snippet of the song on her Instagram feed along with the following caption: “A piece of my heart. Patience has been a huge factor for me during the process of creating my first music project. Singing, writing, performing. It does something to me I could never explain. It’s home. and not being able to share that with you yet…hurts sometimes.”

Sasha continued: “On a day where I felt hopeless and in need to sing, to connect. I called the incredible @david_bu and asked if he’d be down to record a live one take cover with me. ‘David, I’ll be releasing this one.’ He didn’t ask questions, just said yes and gave me a time. This song takes me back to a very bittersweet moment in my life. Where I fell in love for the first time and then felt like It was ripped away from me. My heart was hurting for a while there.”

Sasha concluded by saying: “Anyway. I’m sick of not showing you this massive part of myself. So we’ll start with Lauryn’s song as I continue working on my music. I love you and I hope you enjoy it.”

Sasha’s Y&R co-stars have been steadily responding to her posts. Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers) commented: “Beautiful!!” And Jordi Vilasuso (Rey Rosales) said: “WOOOOOOO! That’s what I’m talking about…ALL THE FEELS!” Finally, Loren Lott (Ana Hamilton) said: “Chills.”

Sasha’s fans have weighed in as well. One commented: “Omg! This is sooo amazing! Your voice is just so beautiful. I have tears in my eyes.” And another said: “SIMPLY breathtakingly haunting & REAL…oh how I & everyone else wants more…” Sasha replied back to that comment, saying: “More will come. x.”

That’s great news for Sasha’s fans – we look forward to hearing more from her! You can find Sasha’s new release at major outlets, or by following the link on her Instagram post below.
