The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) intriguing conversation with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) involved sarcastic, dry humor on both sides. But the joke scenario Kyle played on Nick, which followed the one Morrow’s character offered, may telegraph the coming future.
Rather than pursue the open arranged Kyle initially convinced Nick that Skyle has, it’s reasonable to believe that engagement and marriage lies ahead. A baby would would surely fit with the plans both halves of this revived couple have as well.

The original Skyle marriage was forced and it proved to be a sham. Summer Newman (Hunter King) took Kyle up on his offer to marry him in return for donating half of her liver to Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle).
While Skyle had once been a legitimate pairing, Summer’s intentional personality change made her unappealing to Kyle. He became enamored with Lola, romanced, and eventually married her.
Kyle did love Lola. But he eventually realized that he loved Summer more.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – End of Kyle and Lola Impacts Today
Kola was a real couple, as Kyle wasn’t faking the fact that he did come to care for Lola. But Summer’s instincts proved to be on the mark, as Kyle was still in love with her throughout Kola’s courtship and marriage.
The end of Kola came through pressure. Lola sensed that Kyle wasn’t fully committed to their marriage. Her persistence in questioning Kyle’s feelings, along with Theo Vanderway’s (Tyler Johnson) needling, and Summer’s confidence, as displayed through unusual patience, combined to force an admission.
Kyle acknowledged, to Lola and himself, that Summer was his true love. He genuinely felt terrible about having broken Lola’s heart, but also knew that it wasn’t right to continue a marriage that wasn’t based on equal feelings.
All of the above brings Kyle and Summer to the later part of this summer. For them the future is clear and prospects are realistically bright.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Next Skyle Family Baby Steps Feels Natural
While it would be a remarriage, Summer and Kyle’s decision to legally reunite would be their first honest trip to the altar. So a real Skyle marriage could happen by the fall.
A Christmas time baby announcement would be a legitimate feel-good storyline. Summer and Kyle have matured as individuals and as a couple. Yes, they are ready to start a family.
