The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that a shocking whodunit is on the way. Now that Tyler Johnson (Theo Vanderway) has announced his upcoming exit from Y&R, it certainly looks like Theo could end up at the center of a murder mystery.
If so, there’ll be no shortage of suspects since Theo’s had just about everyone in town on his bad side at some point.
Y&R writers can just rev up all those feuds in a big way as we build toward Theo’s exit. Of course, those within the Abbott family may become top suspects. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will definitely be high on the list of potential killers if Theo turns up dead.
We know Theo and Kyle’s rivalry will explode in a big way for November sweeps, so Kyle may have to defend himself against some startling accusations.
Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will play a major role in the whodunit investigation, but he might even have to put his own sister on the suspect list! Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) could find herself under suspicion depending on how all this plays out.
Since Theo’s about to sue for Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) entire estate, that’ll enrage all the Abbotts and offer more motives to kill him. Even Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will wind up facing allegations in the whodunit according to Young and the Restless spoilers.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will do her best to defend Billy and Chancellor Communications’ reputation in the weeks after this shocker.
Y&R viewers can also expect Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to tackle this mystery. If Theo is indeed murdered for November sweeps, Michael and Paul will work to figure out exactly who killed him and why.
This sounds like it’s shaping up to be an exciting story with plenty of potential culprits – including some surprising ones you might not automatically think of. There’s no confirmation on Theo getting killed off, but the truth is Theo is OUT and a whodunit is coming.
Johnson announced his exit and has made no mention of the possibility of returning, so it makes sense that he might become a murder victim. As more news becomes available, we’ll give you updates.
