The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will soon turn up in Genoa City. Y&R spoilers say that Sally will apparently decide that Los Angeles holds no more opportunities for her, and she’ll make her way onto the GC scene over from the Bold and the Beautiful.
That probably means that Sally will be connecting with Lauren Baldwin (Tracey Bregman), who used to pal around with the elder Sally Spectra (Darlene Conley) on B&B back in the day.
Of course, since Sally is young, gorgeous, and single, she’ll probably attract some attention around Genoa City once her presence is known.
The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Sally will try to keep everything that went down back in Los Angeles quiet – specifically, how she led her friends and loved ones to believe that she was dying all to hold onto Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks). But these things have a way of getting out, so we’d be surprised if Sally’s reputation doesn’t follow her!
At any rate, one wonders just who Sally will end up interacting with romantically in Genoa City. Might Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) take a liking to Sally?
We’re not sure if Sally would be into Theo right away, but we suspect that Theo could take an instant liking to Sally. Theo’s a big flirt in any case, and if he does interact with Sally, he’ll probably at least want to see where she stands and if she’d be interested in him.
Theo might even be interested in dating Sally just for fun for a while – no strings attached. After all, Theo’s attempt to be in a serious relationship with Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) fell flat, since Theo couldn’t stop being Theo and Lola ultimately couldn’t accept him for who he was.
But if Theo and Sally do start hanging out together, even if it’s just casual dating or as friends, what’s this going to do to Lola’s fragile psyche?
In what seemed like an odd turn of events, Lola seemed to handle Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) leaving her for Summer Newman (Hunter King) with grace and maturity, but then when Lola found out that Kyle and Summer were going to live together, she freaked out and had to break up with Theo.
What’s Lola going to do when Theo actually gets into a new dating relationship and she has to watch him move on with someone new?
Well, one possibility is that Lola will up and decide that Theo didn’t seem so bad after all. Might Lola decide that she wants Theo back after he starts hanging out with someone else, like Sally? Or what if Theo decides to let Sally stay at his apartment? Will Lola have a meltdown then?
We’ll see what happens here, but if TPTB do go in the Theo/Sally direction, then we just might see Lola decide to take drastic measures to get Theo back.
Of course, Sally and Theo could wind up just as friends, which would make sense on some level since they each have things in their pasts that they’re not particularly proud of. They’d certainly have something to bond over!
