The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Thursday, January 30 Review - Kyle Fears Lola Marriage Big Mistake - Billy's Bar Brawl Beating, Arrest

The Young and the Restless spoilers review for Thursday, January 30, tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be feeling restless alone in his hotel room, so he’ll head to the Empty Glass and notice a poker game in progress. Feeling like he has no one to answer to anymore, he’ll approach the men and demand to get in the game, but one of the guys will growl that he won too much of their money last time, and that he can’t join in.

That won’t sit well with Billy, and he’ll end up in a brawl with the guy, which will cause a bunch of damage to the bar. Billy will call Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) for help, and she’ll show up and deal with the officers, who will end up cuffing Billy and carting him down to the police station, but she’ll promise to follow him and post his bail.

Later, Billy and Amanda will arrive back at his hotel room, and she’ll quickly learn that he and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) have split. He’ll admit that he was testing his boundaries by getting in the bar fight, and she’ll say that he was really trying to punish himself.

Amanda will apologize for her role in his split with Victoria, but he’ll insist that their problems started long before she came into the picture.

Billy will tell Amanda that he’s grateful for her being there for him, and that through their talks, she really opened his eyes to what he was missing in his life. That will clearly make Amanda feel uncomfortable, and she’ll say that she’d better go, and that she’d make the charges go away. As she goes, Billy will look after her thoughtfully.

It certainly seems like there’s a spark between Billy and Amanda, although Billy seems far more likely to admit it than Amanda does at this point. One wonders if the two of them will ever get together down the road.

Of course, according to Y&R spoilers, Amanda’s ex, Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes), will soon be coming to Genoa City, which Amanda’s not going to be happy about. At that point, Billy might step in to help her out of a jam and return the favor. We’ll see what happens there.

Meanwhile, on the new episode of Y&R on Thursday, January 30, Summer Newman (Hunter King) will wrap up some business with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) at Jabot.

Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) will still be busy at work, so Kyle will stick around the office. He’ll end up having a heart-to-heart with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), who will quickly notice that something’s wrong with Kyle.

Kyle will then open up to Jack about the problems in his marriage. He’ll say that he loves Lola, but he thinks he’s screwing up his marriage. He’ll explain how he and Lola have been out of sync, and at first Jack will think that it will pass and it’s just normal marriage stuff.

But then Jack will realize that Kyle has talked with Summer about all of this, and that Kyle is now questioning whether he’s really happy with Lola.

Kyle will openly wonder whether he’s made a huge mistake and got caught up in the romance of the whole thing with Lola. He’ll think that Lola might feel the same way, and Jack will urge him to go talk with Lola and get everything out on the table.

Jack will then say that some old loves won’t go away, and he’ll wonder if that’s what Summer is to him. Kyle won’t really answer, and Jack will remain deeply concerned.

While all of this is going on, Summer will be at Crimson Lights remembering her kiss with Kyle in San Francisco and Kyle’s subsequent pull-back. She’ll text Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), who will be on her date with Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz), saying that she needs to talk.

Phyllis will quickly arrive and notice that Summer seems really bothered by something, and she’ll surmise that it’s about Kyle.

Summer will relay the whole story of San Francisco to her mother, and Phyllis will be peeved because she warned Summer about not being Kyle’s second choice.

Phyllis will strongly advise to leave Kyle and Lola’s marriage alone – to just let it be, and then see where she stands. But Summer will say that she doesn’t think she can do that, not anymore.

Summer will unhappily say that she is still in love with Kyle, and that she has to see where they can take this. Phyllis will ask how she wants to handle the situation, and Summer will say that she doesn’t know, but when the time is right, she’ll know.

Phyllis won’t like it, but she’ll vow to support her daughter anyway. Of course, if Summer is planning to fight for Kyle, then it looks like we’ll have an active love triangle in play.
