The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, January 9, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will take a huge step forward. Y&R fans know Chelsea recently made her move-in official. Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) was thrilled to learn they’d all be living at the penthouse permanently and would become a real family again.
Nevertheless, Chelsea has been adamant about not rushing into this reunion. She’s keeping her guard up a bit to protect her heart. In Thursday’s episode, Chelsea will once again be impressed by Adam’s devotion to Connor.
It’s one of the things that Chelsea loves most about Adam. He’s a great dad and always comes through for Connor when it counts.
As Chelsea and Adam bond over their son, they’ll share an intense moment. Passion will be on the verge of erupting as Chelsea demands a promise. She won’t be able to fight her feelings anymore, but she’ll need Adam to make a firm vow.
Chelsea will want Adam to swear that she’ll never lose him again. She just won’t think she could go through another loss that devastating.
Adam will assure Chelsea that they’re in this together forever. He’ll want Chelsea to trust that they won’t be ripped apart again.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea will surrender to her desires, so “Chadam” fans will get the steamy scenes they’ve been waiting for! Adam and Chelsea will make love, which should leave them both on cloud nine.
Over with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), he’ll surprise Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) with some big news. Phyllis will mistakenly assume Chelsea dumped Nick, but he’ll reveal it was the other way around.
Once Phyllis gets updates, she’ll probably congratulate Nick on his freedom. Phyllis will also confide in Nick on Thursday, so this will be a good opportunity for “Phick’s” bond to grow.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will notice Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) weird vibe. Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) birthday is coming up, so Sharon will plan a special dinner for her daughter.
However, Rey may sense that Sharon isn’t as excited as she’d normally be for something like this. He might wonder what’s troubling Sharon – especially since she’s already been acting odd.
It doesn’t look like Sharon will come clean about her breast lump yet, so she’ll probably just brush off Rey’s suspicions and keep waiting on her mammogram appointment. Sharon will want to get some answers for herself before she worries her loved ones.
