The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, October 29, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will try to reinvent himself as a man apart from the Newman clan. Adam has never fit in with the Newmans anyway, so he’ll propose severing ties with his own family.
During a meeting with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Adam will insist they can have what they want. He’ll distance himself and will no longer consider himself a Newman family member, but there’s one thing he’ll want in return.
Adam will simply ask for the chance to make his own life away from the Newmans in peace.
Nick and Victoria may agree to Adam’s terms since they want rid of their brother, but there’s no guarantee they’ll stick to the agreement. That’s especially true for Victoria, who’s a vengeful piece of work lately!
Regardless, Adam will take steps to remove himself from this toxic Newman situation – though it’s partly of his own making. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will receive updates on Adam’s decision, so it won’t be long until he objects.
Victor may argue that Adam can disown the Newmans and even stop using the Newman name if he wants. That won’t change the fact that Adam is a Newman in Victor’s eyes. Like it or not, Adam is Victor’s son – and Victor still won’t be willing to give up on him.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will give Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) another pep talk. Chloe knows Chelsea’s hurting over her Adam breakup, but she truly believes this is the best thing for her.
Y&R fans can expect Chloe to push Chelsea toward a new beginning on Thursday – one that doesn’t include Adam at all.
As much as Chloe would hate not having her bestie in town, perhaps she’ll side with Victoria on the topic of Chelsea leaving Genoa City. Chloe may think this is Chelsea’s chance to start over near Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) school and get away from all the Adam memories in GC.
That’ll be something for Chelsea to mull over, but she’ll probably continue to battle headaches as she does. Those headaches seem to be related to Chelsea’s elevator tumble at Chancellor Communications, so this story has to be building somewhere.
Chelsea was suddenly fixated on spending time with Johnny Abbott (Holden and Ryan Hare) after that incident, so there seems to be a connection here. There’s a good chance Chelsea will end up snatching Johnny and trying to make a run for it – possibly as soon as next week!
Until then, let’s talk about Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Theo Vanderway’s (Tyler Johnson) familiar feud. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Theo will rile Kyle up on Thursday, so there could be a couple reasons why.
Theo will most likely needle Kyle about his split from Summer Newman (Hunter King), so that’ll be one way to cause drama.
We also know Theo is set to file a lawsuit for Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) entire estate soon, but it might be a bit longer before that bomb drops. Whatever the case, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Theo will engage Kyle in Thursday’s episode and set up some explosive scenes.
