The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, September 15, tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will deliver the DNA results to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Once Amanda opens them with Nate, it’ll be time to reveal the outcome to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
It turns out Amanda is indeed Hilary Curtis Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) identical twin sister.
Amanda will reel over this bombshell, but it’ll be Devon who’s hit the hardest by it. Devon’s emotions will be hard to get a grip on in the aftermath of this revelation.
It won’t help that Amanda will be so curious about Hilary and her life. Although that’s understandable under the circumstances, it’ll also be way too overwhelming for Devon to tackle questions about Hilary right now.
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) is bound to get upset about Amanda’s pushiness, so look for them to clash in the coming episodes. As for Devon, he’ll need some time to wrap his head around this twin shocker and figure out how he really feels about it.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will think Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) needs to face reality. Will that involve a push toward finding love or perhaps accepting that Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) always going to do problematic things?
Jack will struggle over Billy’s vengeful plans at Chancellor Communications, but Phyllis may think Jack’s brother is always going to make waves. It’s just in Billy’s nature.
Of course, Phyllis could also bring up Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) relationship. This might be a good time for Phyllis and Jack to come together for a chat about their madly-in-love children.
Phyllis might force Jack to face the reality that there are no guarantees in life. They should be prepared for the possibility of Kyle and Summer crashing and burning.
However, Phyllis may also want to stay open-minded about things working out. You can’t shut the door on love just because you think it’ll end in disaster, so that might be a nice lesson for Jack to hear as he gears up for his own new love story.
As for Summer and Kyle, they have a sweet conversation and decide they’ve gotten engaged without realizing it on Monday’s Y&R episode. Kyle offers Summer a makeshift ring, but they decide this engagement will just be their little secret for now.
We’ll see how long that plan lasts, but Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have concerns no matter what on Tuesday. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle’s commitment to Summer will be questioned.
Kyle hasn’t proven to be very reliable so far, so Victor will definitely worry Summer’s going to wind up in a pit of despair by the end of all this.
