The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will make more progress in their relationship. Since Victor doesn’t think he has any other options, he’s ready to put Adam in charge of Newman Enterprises. However, concerns have been brought up about Adam’s trustworthiness.
Y&R wants it to seem like Adam’s the one who can’t be trusted, but it may be Victor instead! The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam and Victor will settle their differences regarding Newman. They’ll manage to get on the same page while stranded in the ice storm, but what’s next in this hot plot?
Eric Braeden had an interview with Celebrity Page TV not too long ago, which featured some behind-the-scenes footage. Braeden was preparing for a scene with Joshua Morrow in one part of the video. The scene was taking place in Victor’s office, where Nick was in a suit and sitting in the CEO chair.
The Young and the Restless buzz also hints that Nick will face more pressure to take the reins at Newman. Some of that should come from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), who’ll likely grow increasingly worried about having Adam at the helm. He’s got bolder strategies and is willing to take more risks than his sister. That can be a good thing at times and a terrible thing when it doesn’t pan out.
Will Victoria fear the company’s going to become a sinking ship? She may if Adam takes charge and behaves impulsively. Adam’s a gambler at heart – as proven by his time spent as Spider out in Vegas. Even without his memories, Adam was the kind of why who pushed his luck and tried to beat the odds.
It’s easy to imagine Victoria pushing Nick to take the lead if Adam gets too gutsy. As for Victor, he’s already made it clear that he’d prefer to have Nick running the show. Victor might jump at the chance to kick Adam out if Nick suddenly becomes willing. Pushing Nick on the throne may have been the plan all along.
There’s also Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) leverage to consider. If Nick needs a little help making sure Adam’s out of the way, Phyllis could remind him of what’s at stake. She’d want to help Nick out in a situation like that.
However, it may not even be necessary since Nick is Victor’s new golden boy. It’s somewhat understandable considering the whole tampered meds debacle, but that doesn’t mean this betrayal won’t cut deep. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor may be poised to stab Adam in the back!
