The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) may need to make a bold statement once a scandal breaks out at Newman Enterprises.
Y&R fans know Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) feels secure in her job and exudes confidence in that CEO chair. Victoria has trained her whole life so she could be top dog at Newman, so she’s pretty much on a perpetual power trip.
Maybe it’s time for Victoria to face a tough fall from power instead. It’d be a good way to shake up Victoria’s sense of stability and force her to figure out what’s next. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria’s job could indeed be in jeopardy, so let’s talk about why.
Gloria Fisher Bardwell’s (Judith Chapman) thumb drive finally surfaced, which contains proof that someone’s been stealing major money from the Newman office out in Los Angeles. We’re talking about at least a $2.3 million loss for Newman Enterprises, so that’s not going to be a good look for the company overall.
As CEO of Newman Enterprises, you’d think Victoria would notice that $2.3 million is missing from the company she runs. It’s true that this is happening on the west coast and not right under her nose, but Victor may still blame Victoria on some level.
This LA office is a branch of Newman, so Victoria has a responsibility to keep an eye out and make sure there’s nothing shady going on. That goes for any and all aspects of Newman Enterprises.
Even if Victor doesn’t really hold Victoria at fault, he may still fire her. Victor may feel like he has to restore confidence in the company – and the way to do that may be through a big change at the helm.
This could work out well since Y&R needs a reason to keep Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in town with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Once Chelsea’s brain aneurysm is treated, Adam and Chelsea plan to make an official move away from Genoa City. How will The Young and the Restless halt that plan?
Maybe Victor can somehow convince Adam that he needs to run Newman Enterprises again and create a legacy for Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
Since most characters change their minds frequently on Y&R, we’d have no problem buying that Victor could eventually get Adam on board. In other words, Victoria may be out and Adam may be in! This could fuel Victoria’s hatred for Adam and cause more Newman family drama than ever, so stay tuned.
