The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, June 3 - Jack Proposes To Reluctant Phyllis - Jill Ends Things With Sean

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, June 3, tease that viewers will see an encore episode that originally aired on September 10, 2001. In the episode, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will ask Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to marry him, and Phyllis will feel hesitant and overwhelmed. Phyllis will run out of the room, and Jack will want to go after her, but Ashley Abbott Carlton (Eileen Davidson) will hold Jack back.

Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will encounter Phyllis in another room and try to tell her that Jack loves her. Jack will then come in and hold his hand out, asking Phyllis to come with him for a private chat.

Once alone, Jack and Phyllis will discuss their relationship, and Phyllis will think that they just can’t be together. Jack will make a big emotional pitch to Phyllis saying that he wants her…and only her. Jack will tell Phyllis that if it’s what she really wants, he’ll leave her alone.

After talking with Phyllis, Michael will speak with Isabella Braña (Eva Longoria), who will tell Michael that she and Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) will be getting very close later that evening.

Michael will question why Isabella wants to move things along so quickly with Isabella, and he’ll guess that she’s afraid that Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) will return and put a stop to her relationship with Paul.

Next, Isabella will talk with Lauren Fenmore Grainger (Tracey E. Bregman), who will introduce herself to Isabella as Paul’s ex-wife. Lauren will snark that she’s surprised to see that Isabella is still in town and that her rebound relationship with Paul is still going.

Isabella will sweetly say that she doesn’t think her relationship with Paul is a rebound, and that she’s very happy. Lauren will look taken aback.

Meanwhile, John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) will take the opportunity to talk with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) about her current living arrangements. John won’t like it that Traci and Colleen Carlton (Lyndsy Fonseca) are staying with Brad Carlton (Don Diamont). John will ask if Traci realizes what the situation is doing to Ashley’s happiness.

Traci will regret the tension that the situation has caused, but she’ll say that it’s important for Colleen and Brad to bond. Traci will remain firm, saying that until Ashley voices her concerns about her living arrangements, then she and Colleen will remain at Brad’s.

Next, Paul will finish up some business with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) at Victor’s office. Victor will try to broach a conversation with Paul about Christine, but Paul will refuse to discuss it, and he’ll leave.

Paul will head to the lodge where he’ll encounter a scantily dressed Isabella. Paul won’t be into it, however, and he’ll be distracted and drinking a large amount of wine.

Over at Crimson Lights, Amanda Browning (Denice Duff) will be asking around the establishment about Mackenzie “Mac” Browning (Ashley Bashioum). Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) will hear Amanda, and she’ll tell Amanda that the Chancellors and her own family are close.

Amanda will tell Cassie that she knows the Chancellor family. Later, Cassie will inform Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) that a woman was there asking around about Mac. Sharon will wonder what was going on, and she’ll caution Cassie about talking to strangers.

Later, Billy Abbott (David Tom) will take Mac home and they’ll kiss each other goodnight. After Billy goes, the doorbell will ring, and when Mac answers, she’ll find her mother standing at the door.

Finally, at the Chancellor mansion, Sean Bridges (David Lee Russek) will do his best to persuade Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) that he really cares about her. However, Jill will insist that their fling is over.

Jill will explain that their relationship has run its course, and that she’s too much older than he is for it to work. Sean will leave, and Jill will fall to the floor in tears.
