The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, October 7, tease that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will make her position clear. Although Abby’s tried to be understanding about Chance Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz) complicated friendship with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), things have changed since the release of that article.
Adam is a flaming dumpster fire as far as Abby’s concerned, so she won’t want Chance getting burned by the flames. With that in mind, Abby will warn Chance to disconnect from Adam. From Abby’s perspective, it’ll be the only solution.
Abby may suggest that if Chance expects to have a family and a future with her, this is what it’s going to take. However, it’ll be tough for Chance to cut ties with Adam completely. The worse things get for Adam, the more Chance will want to help.
Chance can’t forget that he wouldn’t be alive if it weren’t for Adam. That’s a debt Chance will never really repay, so just ditching Adam will seem unfair on some level. As for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), she’ll take a surprising trip – though it may not be too far from home.
Chelsea will wind up getting trapped as a result of her latest adventure, and the timing couldn’t be worse.
It looks like Chelsea will get stuck in an elevator that’s out of order. This elevator might be leading to a basement based on how Y&R’s weekly preview looks, so it’s possible Chelsea will cross over into this “teardrop of love” story.
It might be interesting if Chelsea tried to get her hands on the emerald Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) has in storage. Perhaps this legendary gem could renew buzz for Chelsea’s launch, which has collapsed due to the drama surrounding Adam.
Whatever the case, Chelsea will land in a tight spot – and that brings us to the bad timing. On Tuesday’s episode, Chelsea has a fierce faceoff with Adam about his next move.
Adam feels like Chelsea doesn’t trust him to handle things for their family, so he basically says they’ll each handle things their own way.
In other words, it may not raise too many red flags if Chelsea disappears after this fight. Adam may think Chelsea’s just shutting him out. It indeed looks like Chelsea may pull a vanishing act, so Adam may have a mystery to solve once she’s gone long enough.
At some point, Adam may figure out something’s wrong and go looking for Chelsea.
As for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), The Young and the Restless spoilers say she’ll head home following her surgery and start her recovery. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will support Sharon, but they’ll both worry about Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind).
It’ll be easy for Nick and Sharon to see that Faith isn’t coping very well.
