The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of March 9-13 tease that some interesting developments are on the way. For starters, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will find themselves growing closer. After Amanda awakens in Billy’s arms, she’ll decide she doesn’t mind. Amanda will be grateful Billy stuck around to support her through her nightmares.
Once Amanda admits she’s hungry and hops in the shower, Billy will order up some room service and do some reflecting. He likes how comfortable he is with Amanda and how easy this all seems to be. Despite the mess with Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes), there’s at least an ease to the nature of their relationship.
After having breakfast with Amanda, Billy will think it’s time to do what feels right. He’ll lean in for a kiss, but he’ll have a surprising realization afterward. Does that mean it won’t quite have the spark he expected? Could it involve a deeper revelation about Billy’s “journey” or whatever else Y&R wants to call it? Regardless, it seems like Billy’s about to have an epiphany.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say some Newman Enterprises shakeups are brewing. Victor will make some powerplays, but there could be more family drama. It looks like Victor will be all set to put Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) on the throne, but will Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) get in the way?
Y&R fans can probably expect Nick to take that CEO seat eventually, but Victor may hold off for a bit. The Young and the Restless spoilers point to Victor calling Adam’s motives into question later. It makes more sense for Victor to do that if Adam’s still on the throne.
However, this could be a sign that any type of trust will crumble quickly with Adam at the helm. Nick may have his chance to swap in shortly. As for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), she’ll focus on plans for the future. Although Chelsea and Adam have a wedding coming up, it appears Chelsea will focus on her own future for now.
Chelsea hopes to revive her fashion designing career, so she’ll likely take a big step toward that. Speaking of big steps, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will to something that requires getting out of her comfort zone. She’ll break free from her usual behavior and make a move that’s wild. The Young and the Restless spoilers, news and updates say Nikki will be full of surprises!
Back with Billy, he’ll be caught off guard by Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). Will Jill sweeten the pot to convince Billy she needs him at Chancellor Industries? Jill offered Billy the opportunity to run the media division, so we’ll see if Jill can make it worth his while. She may also have a thing or two to say about Billy’s complicated connection to Amanda.
Over with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), she’ll cause some concerns. Nikki will fret about her daughter, so it’s possible Victoria will face a setback in her recovery. Then again, Victoria may just be upset about the Newman men running the show at the company! She’d much rather be in charge, but that just isn’t an option right now.
As for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she’ll become a victim of Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) and Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) crazy scheme. After it apparently blows up in their faces, Chance will get an earful from Phyllis and could perhaps worry about that Vegas secret of his. Phyllis will also heat things up with Nick in the week ahead, so that’ll certainly be a win in her book.
Finally, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will expand his territory. His empire will grow stronger, so we’ll see if that involves some Hamilton-Winters shockers.
