The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of September 21-25 teases that some surprises are on the way – and some of them won’t be pleasant ones. First, let’s talk about some broken trust.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will keep a secret from Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) this week, but that decision will ultimately come back to bite him.
This may involve Devon’s plan to honor Hilary Curtis Hamilton (Mishael Morgan), which is coming up in the week ahead. Perhaps Devon will sneak off to visit Hilary’s grave and lie about where he’s going.
Then again, maybe Devon will donate money to a worthy cause that Hilary would’ve supported or something along those lines.
Whatever the case, Devon will hide something innocent and spark more concerns for Elena. In a new weekly preview video, Devon apologizes to Elena and suggests he should’ve trusted her to understand. Elena replies, “But you didn’t – and I think we both know the reason why.”
Of course, Elena will think Devon’s feeling overwhelmed over Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) pressure. Elena may argue that the twin revelation is already coming between them since Devon’s sneaking around.
Devon will likely promise to be honest and stop trying to protect her, but Elena will still worry about the threat Amanda poses.
At Chancellor Communications, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will check in with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). In Y&R’s new preview promo, Victoria is downright giddy over her latest suggestion.
She says, “How is this for a headline: How a Son Would Stop at Nothing to Try to Kill His Own Dad.” “Tell me what I need to do to get that into print,” Billy replies.
Victoria is clearly upping the ante against Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and her father – and Billy will be all for it! However, there’ll be a setback when it comes to the expose Billy’s been cooking up. That’s because Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) will go missing, and Billy will point the finger straight at devious Adam.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will face off with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Adam may once again allude to how Victor ruined him with the Kansas cover-up all those years ago. Now Victor will have to live with the consequences of the man Adam’s become.
Adam’s revenge plot will move forward soon, but Victor will sense that a storm’s brewing. He may insist that Adam needs to focus on his family instead of scheming as usual. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) has Adam’s back, but Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) being sent to boarding school.
“With what’s about to happen, it is probably best for Connor to be far away from Genoa City,” Adam says to Victor in the weekly preview video. Victor doesn’t look pleased over Adam’s veiled threat. There’s a chill in the air when it comes to the Newmans and what they have in mind, so stay tuned!
