The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that some exciting moments are ahead as Genoa City gets ready for the holidays. We’ve got a Christmas preview of all the action that’s coming up, so let’s talk about what’s in store. Here’s what Y&R fans can expect this year in GC.
For starters, we should point out that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will get arrested again on December 14, but he thankfully won’t spend Christmas behind bars. Although Billy fired Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), she’ll beg Billy not to push her away – especially not when Billy needs her more than ever.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda will come to Billy’s rescue, so he’ll be out on bail again to enjoy the holiday spirit soon enough.
The week of December 21-25 will bring some Christmas celebrations, so Billy should have a chance to spend time with his kids. He may worry he’ll be locked up for next year’s holiday season, so he’ll surely want to make this Christmas count.
Love will also be in the air as Billy cranks up the romance for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). It sounds like Lily will get a special Christmas present as they fall harder in the coming weeks.
There’s no doubt that this investigation is bringing Billy and Lily much closer. Billy appreciates Lily’s faith in him and will continue to show his appreciation with some holiday loving!
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda has an extraordinary gift in her future. She’ll get something for Christmas she isn’t expecting at all, but it should be a pleasant surprise.
It looks like this will tie in with the debut of Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) and Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) on December 24.
Whether Naya and Imani are long-lost family members of Amanda’s or connect to her story another way, it seems they’ll fit in with this Christmas twist that’s coming up. Meanwhile, let’s talk about the Abbott clan.
There should be great relief among the Abbotts since their Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) issues will finally be behind them.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will have a goal in mind as Christmas approaches. He’ll make it his mission to spread holiday joy like only Jack can! The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will have a few tricks up his sleeve, so look for his loved ones to face some fun shockers.
There’s no word yet on what Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be up to as Christmas approaches, but she did mention trying to visit her sister, Coco Spectra (Courtney Grosbeck).
Of course, it’s possible Sally will bail on that plan since she’s awfully fixated on trying to steal Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) job.
Sally may not think she can afford to take a break from working her new Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) angle. Then again, it’s possible Sally’s flight will get canceled or something along those lines.
Whatever the case, Sally could easily make some holiday waves for Summer and Kyle if she sticks around.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is hoping for a happy holiday with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), but Chelsea’s brain aneurysm will remain in the back of their minds.
That’s something that’ll have to be treated after Christmas winds down – or maybe even before depending on how bad things get in the coming episodes.
As for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), they’ll enjoy Christmas with their loved ones and keep planning their New Year’s Eve wedding.
There’ll be a lot to accomplish between now and the looming nuptials, so Rey and Sharon will keep their eye on the prize – even while the Christmas festivities are going on.
