In tonight’s CSI: Vegas episode, the team scours a crime scene involving David Hodges. Maxine tells her boss that this is a set-up. Its all Wix. She thinks Hodges is dead. Kade agrees to let her work temporarily since she has been suspended.

Grissom and Sarah continued to work the scene. They have found some hairs. They also think they have found a clue spelling out T I N. Meanwhile, David is chained up in a room. Six brings him water. He has been beaten and is bleeding. David warns him he is going to get caught. Six says his goodbyes. He tells David he will make sure he gets a proper burial.

Six holds a press conference, speaking about David and how they were all tricked by him. Maxine and some of the team head to see the body of Chavez. Part of his tongue is missing. Maxine seems something in his mouth. It looks like metal. Josh thinks it is from a trunk release lever. They also have a slug from the body that they later tie to two men, one nicknamed Tiny, and a cold case. Joshua knows the vehicle type for the trunk release lever. They take note of fountain pen ink on his wrists.

Sarah notices Wix always has a fancy pen in his pocket at press conferences. Maxine and Joshua call in one of the men. They know he is guilty but he plays with them. They need to find his car to have enough evidence.

Grissom pays a visit to Wix and tries to borrow his pen as he pretends to a cross word. Wix doesn’t fall for it. But Grissom sees something on his bag and scrapes it off. Wix doesn’t pick up on this.

Meanwhile, Maxine and the team find their vehicle but its been junked and is now a cube. Josh and Allie get started on it. They still plan to break it down and look for prints. They find the ashtray with a cigarette with pink lipstick and a broken lighter. They track down the identity of the woman who was recently with Tiny.

The sample Grissom pulled off of Wix’s bag has a scent to it. They start to think about what one of the men said about David checking in and out. They know casinos have signature scents. After tracking down one scent goes to what hotel, they head to the one on their radar and search every room.

Allie and Josh head to a strip club to talk to the woman in question. Tiny is there. They chase him, forced to shoot an association of his. Before he dies, Allie asks where David is but it is too late. After, Josh comforts her.

Later, they find a pen in the car. Its Wix’s. They find his saliva but it isn’t enough of a sample. Maxine tells Kade. He doesn’t think its enough but she wants to book him. He gives her the green light. They take him in and take his shoes and coat. They check it for evidence as Grissom and Sarah question him.

He is cocky. They get back to work and realize the signature scent was also used by another casino that has been closed. They all head there and find David hanging on by a thread. Sarah and Grissom visit Wix to tell him he will be staying behind bars.

Maxine returns to her position, unsuspended. Sarah and Grissom ride a rollercoaster he has been talking about. Allie finds her bent key in her purse. Meanwhile, a new serial killer seems to be out there.

THE END!
