Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will battle regrets after he realizes he’s quite wrong about who Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) been sleeping with. After Chad confronts Abigail and shirtless Jake, he’ll get some news that changes everything.
Chad will be horrified when he realizes Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and Jake are the ones who have been hitting the sheets. At that point, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chad’s world will really start to spin out. The weight of Chad’s own betrayal will hit him hard, but Gwen won’t be sorry for her part in all this.
When confronted, Gwen will admit she lied about seeing Abigail and Jake kissing. That was a huge piece of the puzzle for Chad, who chose to trust Gwen when he shouldn’t have.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail will blow her top at Gwen for manipulating the situation. She’ll fire Gwen on the spot and kick her out of the DiMera mansion.
Of course, Gwen will suddenly find herself with some great blackmail material that could keep her under the same roof as Abigail anyway. Days spoilers say Gwen will use her hot night with Chad as leverage.
Gwen will insist that if Chad wants her to keep her mouth shut about what happened at the Salem Inn, then he’ll convince Abigail to let her stay at the mansion.
That’ll put Chad in a real bind since there’ll seemingly be no plausible reason for him to want Gwen around. Abigail will be hopping mad at Gwen and will naturally expect Chad to have the same fury.
DOOL spoilers say Chad will want to protect Abigail from the knowledge of what he did, but he’ll mostly just want to save his own skin here.
We should note that the preview video for the week of January 4-8 seems to be a bit misleading. Abigail can be heard lashing out at Gwen for spending the night with her husband, but Chad might come up with a cover story.
Chad could claim Gwen was simply with him when he passed out from drinking. Whatever the case, the truth won’t be revealed just yet.
Days spoilers say Chad will have to make some difficult decisions in the coming episodes. After Chad confides in Kate, she’ll think he’d better tell Abigail what went down before Gwen blabs herself.
Chad may be dragging his feet on caving into Gwen’s blackmail threat, so Kate will know this is bound to get ugly.
Unfortunately, it looks like Abigail will have to hear the steamy Salem Inn story from Gwen during the week of January 11-15. You can bet that’ll make matters even worse for Chad! We’ll pass along updates as other DOOL news becomes available.
